Misha, who over the years has led a raider faction, been a mercenary and a farmer, among other things, is seen here in his raider days.
Depending on who you ask you get different stories as to how a yao guai stood up, started talking and using weapons. One story is that a raider group had a tame yao guai and their women, hopped up on drugs and alcohol, starting "visiting" him, the result of which was Misha when one unexpectedly became pregnant. Another story is that he's a yao guai who ate so many people he became part human himself.
Whatever his origins, a thousand pound bear smart enough to talk and use weapons is a very useful person to have around...provided he's on your side. Because if he's not on your side you'll probably end up in his insides, as did the previous leader of the raider band he took over.
(This picture happened because I was playing FO4 and said 'Boy, I'd like to play a bearman in one of these games'. I can't, so I drew it.)

I wonder if it's possible for him to breed and start a whole race of intelligent Yao Guai

He's had kids with female yao guai and human women, some of which are intelligent bears or bear people, so probably. 83

Really interesting concept. If only FO4 was as moddable as the older games...
Also I am not sure which of his origin stories is the nicer one. In any case he seems like an entertaining creature to watch from afar.

Now the Suoer mutants have a challenger! Aside from the few lone stranger's that get released from various vaults every few hundred years, or so.

I wonder if there's a mod you could use to play as a Yao Guai.
