Although in the movie the Other Mother stole coraline's parents and hid them away in a snow globe but what if she had more dastardly scheme in hiding them. Except of putting them in a small snow globe why not have them closer to her just in case~
Had this sketch for quite a while, wanted to finally finish it and paint it in the style of the movie. Originally I was gonna include the bug furniture but there wasn't enough room to add 'em.

Well, knowing the rules of fairytales, Coraline should be able to save her parents if she cuts open the Other Mother's tummy. Alternatively, if this is a darker fairytale, she'll be gobbled up too and the audience will learn a valuable lesson about the importance of appreciating what you have and not talking to strangers. Oh, and also don't mess with the Fae, because they will literally eat your life if given the chance!

Nice really nice I have always been a big fan of Other Mother as a pred and I really wish that there were more artworks and stories featuring her out there and and I really loved the angles of the drawing it's very BIGBIG inspired and by the way can you tell me what is going to happen to Coraline's parents ?
