2.) Your logic for Carrot is my logic for Sonic characters not named Tails or Cream. Because seriously, Rouge acts like a goddamn cougar, and (barring Amy's ongoing crush on Sonic) everyone (minus Cream), especially in the comics, acts far more mature than one would expect for teenagers.

EXACTLY THIS, as a Sonic fan my actual headcannon is that everyone except Cream is an adult. Tails included because he has been around almost as long as Sonic himself

I mean, anime has women in their 40's look like they are in kindergarden & kids that are 8 look like full blown adult with tits larger than watermelons, so... It's kinda hard to go by the "official age" thing. If a kid looks like a kid, then yeah it's not good to do lewds. But if the character looks & acts nothing like a kid... It's hard to see them as a kid.
And in the sense of Carrot... she's a minks. Are we sure they follow the same age rules as normal humans? Animals generally mature faster than humans, so it aint neccesairly wrong to assume minks mature faster.
They may be considered adults in their early teens.

Pretty based. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s probably a duck, especially if it exists solely in the realm of fiction where things are usually judged by their appearances. So if someone is going to say this character who looks like and acts like a kid is actually an adult, or vice versa, I think that’s just dumb. And like another comment said, this is an annoying issue with Sonic too. Literally everyone except Cream tends to act as mature as or more mature than teenagers, and yet they’re only 11 or so? Why??? Is time quashed over there?

Anyway, bottom line, agree.

You just do the art you wanna do man. If someone complains about your art and wont listen to your reasoning, then they're people you should stress over cause they arnt the people you intended the pic for. If they keep complaining then they are just people who have no life and have nothing better to do then whine, then they're even less worth your time

Yeah HookaLoof does make a point, Carrot doesn't really act like a child or look like one either plus she's very tall and a musketeer so I think she actually is an adult, I've seen all of the Episodes so far from the beginning to the very current one released!

I agree with you, we pay more attention to the number rather than actual maturity. If she is an adult for her kind at 15, then it's fine. The logic that everything has to be based on human aging allows disgusting people to make excuses like "She's 1000 years old, it's ok!" When the character is obviously a child. Is doesn't matter if they are 15 or 1000 human years old, it matters if they are an adult for their kind.

I don't know what to say, because everything I think of saying as I write this ends up going into irl territory with the way politics/laws have fucked up and the internets morality has fucked up.

So I'm going to take a breath and ask this: Do you think, morally, that if there is a game that is rated M and gets a vore mod, but it has child npcs in it, and the vore mod makes you able to vore them along side the adults, Is that borderline/crossing the line of pedophilism?

Also, I can sort of understand this being based, I don't 100% get it since I'm not a artist like you. But I can understand the people finding drawing vore of a young character is pedo.

And now since I have typed that I have another question. If you get off to vore, and there is a drawing of a young character in a vore situation as a Pred, where is the line draw of someone being a pedo if there is one?

Im not personally interested in getting into the weeds of what checklist items makes someone a child predator so instead i will say this.

The problem i have with minors in fetish material besides personal distaste is with how real minors can have that used as a corrupting influence. I had it happen to me when i was 14, someone showed me vore with a teenage prey, and because i showed interest and convinced me it was okay to be sexual with adults many years my senior.

When those kids are taken advantage of, thats the problem, not some arbitrary line of what does or doesnt make a pedophile. If what I'm drawing is characters that look adult and act adult then unsavory individuals can't convince any minors to put themselves in harm's way because of it. But as for the explicit examples you listed i cant say if that makes a person a pedophile or not, I think it has more to do with attitudes and actions than situations.

Ok. It's just been on my mind since people in a vore mod discord (skyrims) said the previous owners of the mod allowed child npcs to be eaten and said that's basically be like a pedo or stuff pedos would do.

It's just been itching in my mind since I don't want to be labeled a pedo because of a version of a mod. Because I don't 100% that it's pedophilic, until I hear it from someone that has had to go through that.
