My guess: She realizes she'll still never get to taste a human again so she barfs her back up and keeps eating her over and over whenever she gets the craving.

Perhaps- given its a comedy comic that's quite likely, maybe Midori even makes a deal with her to avoid her boss.

Other concept is she actually digests her, only to realise she's just eaten the only human she'll ever have contact with and is stuck forever without the taste, ending on a comedic tragedy for her stomach rather than Midoris fate

The pacing and tone in this comic are really great. A huge amount of buildup leading to this scene, and you even had the guts to delay it juuuust a little bit further to get in that humorous telling of Zhaariash's history as you left us hanging.
I really don't like reformation (and I'm hoping Midori gets/stays digested, leaving Zhaariash to lament being on a planet with no more humans again), but I put that dislike aside reading this just because it's so funny and compelling. You did a really great job, no matter how it turns out. 100+ comic pages, especially for a fetish-based comic, is ridiculous, and you should be proud of yourself.

Something just doesn't feel right. Yeah, this could be the end of the comic, that'd be ok, but every other time was a close call in some form, and events shown tell us somethings very off... like... the beggining of the flashback. I coulda sworn she wasn't introduced as being part of the office by staff, I remember she just popped in like she was the terminator, or some other Sci-Fi shtick. How the other characters reacted as well in her introduction there seemed like it was her first time showing up at all. The Flashback seems like a fabrication. A well made fabrication, but one that doesn't sit well with the story so far, as well as the forth wall breaking. It fits with comedy, but it doesn't make too much sense in context for what's been established with other panels that include the alien, it just seems like another fabrication in some way, like someone lying about the events of what happened to a friend of theirs. I don't know, it's a good comic mate, but there's something buggin going on
