My mental head canon, is they're probably going to be regressed into children at best. Stored as embryo's for archival/interrorgation, and experimentation purposes at worst.

The intention was more long term exposure. Potentially selling it to the military or prison industrial complex.

Still, it might end up being a fun thing if say. They 'condense' them into an embryoic form, before transporting it as an offered service. Or "sample" for their advanced maternal technology. ;)

And the research team is disbanded and told the test subjects are their problem but that they will be liable and responsible for their well being.

Well I'm currently neck deep in work. If the commissioner is cool with it, I don't see why not. But I'm not accepting any more commissions for the time being.
