hhHHHHHRNGH i watched the funny demon show and I WANT TO FUCK THE TELEVISION MAN
goddddd why is he so HOT it's not FAIR i am losing my mind?? i spent like 40 hours on this or some bullshit amount of time, i absolutely lost track because i had to get it absolutely 100% perfect hjgkflsjhgff ANYWAY!!! :'D i love vox!!!!!! i want him to make me his bitch!! i want my trash oc to get shoved through his fucking screen and make his skinny ass put on a few pounds! and to that effect, i have thought way too extensively about how said screen works and how the fuck you get eaten by a dude with a tv for a head. .. but if any of you guys know me, then you already know i won't be stopped in my prey thirst quest by something as trivial as that -v-
SO HERE'S HOW THE MAGIC WORKS (in my headcanon that i cannot remotely confirm but shhhhh): things can pass through vox's monitor whenever he personally wills it! we've seen that his tongue is able to come out and become 3D in the actual show, so that aspect of the pic is basically canon already... but i also really like the addition that once something enters his mouth, it goes 'inside' the screen and can't pass back through unless vox consciously allows it to. while you're inside, your surroundings are still tangible and have volume and texture as if they were 3D... so you can understand why citrine is a bit confused here, feeling everything around her as viscerally as if it were real, unable to tell where the screen ends and the world outside begins. the barrier between them is transparent and only traversible when he wants it to be, so his food stays where it's supposed to. <3 once he swallows whatever's in there, it exits the screen and moves down into his body like you'd expect.
... a-ahem .//. so that's what's... what's happening here >>;; ehe. citrine isn't too upset about it, clearly, just really bewildered! this is probably some of the best work i can do at this point in time, i poured my whole heart out for this one and there's definitely gonna be more art of this asshole coming soon whether you like it or not @v@; EHEHE. hazbin has me crazy fuckin obsessed with him and i just cannot get this man out of my mind no matter what i do aaaaa please send help
(don't actually send help, i really don't want to be saved, let him melt me please <3 <3 <3)
edit: after drawing vox a bunch more times, i feel like the way i drew his face (particularly his eyes) in the older pictures like this one is kind of off. so i edited it to fix the eyes to look more accurate to how he's supposed to look! i hope nobody minds the change, i much prefer this version ;v;

it's a rare mood of mine, but it does come back from time to time! so it's likely that i'll draw another citrine pred pic at some point, never fear :>c i can't really say when it will happen, exactly, but if i had to guess... probably when i'm not so brainrotted that i can only think about being tv food. >>;;;

it's just how my silly brain works ;v; i find a character, i get unreasonably attracted, i draw thirst of them eating citrine because i have no self control <3 sometimes i cycle through crushes faster and sometimes it takes months or years, i don't really control when my mind decides to fixate like this xD
but YES he absolutely does and i am down so fucking bad ;///; i have a feeling this one might last for longer than one or two pics

ohhh woah I can definitely see how much thought and sheer drawing power you put into this, everything's incredibly tightly drawn yet flowy and gooey! I especially appreciate how you drew/painted the 'skin pressing into transparent object' because that's such a difficult thing to pull off right!

Well, I'm happy to see Vox struck such a chord with you! Sometimes, a character just flips a switch in someone's head that goes "YES, this one! Swallow me whole, you magnificent stallion!" Angel Dust does that to a lotta folks, but I appreciate that Vox captured your soul so much~

I say this with only love: it is so fun being able to spot a character I know will be a pred of choice for you from a mile away. I would've put 50/50 odds on Alastor but I figured Vox's antagonism would've slightly won out.

yeaaaaah, sometimes there are characters that are just way too blatantly 'my type' for me to even try and resist <3 amusingly enough, the original debate in my brain upon first watching the show WAS between alastor and vox, and al still remains my second favorite and another character i adore as pred... but obviously we know who ended up winning my heart in the end, ehehe.
