was late morning, in the stretch of forest just north of the vast
rocky fields – the forest south of the Fairy Kingdom’s southern
border. Late morning; the time when many creatures, sapient or not,
were out looking for their midday meal. Breakfast had been digested,
and hungry stomachs needed to be filled anew. This was a dangerous
time for all but the greatest, largest predators – and there were,
thankfully, very few of those.
