“I’m just cold,” Addy said. “Please don’t turn this into a
big deal.” She was wrapped up in blankets next to the radiator. Her
teeth were chattering.
“I’m not trusting you right now,” June said, closing her
laptop. “This seems like something that has to do with your
recent... with the recent thing...”
“You can call it the fairy fiasco,” Addy said, smiling
expectantly.

into her backpack and then grabbed
