Milo Grey is a Wreathed Judge, permitted by the Empire of Seraphia to act in the name of its glorious Emperor. Although the Emperor himself is just a little bit... total psychopathic monster, Milo believes he can still use his position to dispense justice and fairness for all of Seraphia's citizens. But after a case catches his Divinity's attention, the young cat is summoned to the Imperial Palace itself to discuss several things, including the likelihood of him ever leaving the palace again.

A commission for aliclan at http://www.furaffinity.net/user/aliclan, who Milo belongs to. Well, Milo belongs to Goldeneye. But you get the idea. This story ties in to Crime and Cruel and Unusual Punishment, another story featuring Goldeneye which you can read here - http://aryion.com/g4/view/329948 - but it's not vital to understanding the plot. So plunge right in.

Hope you enjoy. As always, it's a pleasure to provide.

It's very well detailed, very well written, and I liked Milo a lot.

But again I DESPISE Goldeneye with the greatest of intensity. If someone ran a power plant that ran on hate, my hatred for this character could power the entire world for the next FIFTY THOUSAND YEARS. That is how much I despise this sadistic...

I'd call him a "monster" but that'd be an insult to monster. There is NO word to describe him. I find him too overpowered, he's only ever sadistic and never shows any other real side, making him flat, and he's positively hateful. His very presence in every single work only serves to drag down work I'd normally enjoy.

Yeah he is so cool! I'd like to hear more of him.

He's well written, that's for sure. But his personality and actions are both just so vile to me.

Well, he seems to be popular, so I'll be happy to provide should he turn up on my list again.

I can't fault that. Goldeneye is an appalling literary construct. If it's any comfort, I'd never dream of using him in any of my works which have objectives other than to appeal to this rather niche audience. But to this audience, which I admit includes me, the fact that he is so divinely powerful, so totally amoral and so greedily sadistic is the exact point of his appeal. Vore is domination, and Goldeneye is domination in it's essence, unhindered by anything be it weakness, morality, or kindness. Judged in terms of a predator, I admit I'm quite pleased with him. Judged in terms of a character, he's terrible. So I have to agree with you, really, and just respond that he's simply doing his job.

You're remarkably eloquent! And you're quite right. On a predatory and vore level, he's INCREDIBLY well done, the level of detail and effort is undeniable. I guess the best way to describe it is...well...you might have seen Grave of the Fireflies or read 1984? They're both well done stories. Quite well done. It's hard not to feel strong emotional reactions. But you wouldn't ever wanna re-READ 1984 or rewatch Grave of the Fireflies because of said strong emotional reaction. They're well done...but so grueling and hard-hitting you're not comfortable reading it more than once. I sort of feel that way for work with Goldeneye's involvement.

Well, I'm glad you see him as a well done predator at least. Hatred is a pretty reasonable response to such an unfair character, especially when I try to make everything else in my stories conform to what makes a good story - believable characters, struggles which are relatable, and emotions which are realistic. Goldeneye, like a nearby planet, twists the fabric of the story around his massive ego, and hence he can seem rather horrific and out of place compared to relatable characters like Leshana. Because, of course, that's what he is.

Haven't read Fireflies, but 1984 is very good. I can see the parallels between Goldeneye's dominance over the very nature of what is justice and law in this story, and the rewriting of reality in 1984. Just remember, we have always been at war with Seraphia.

Just send in Saitama, who will splatter him with one punch, because Saitama.

Outrageously OP wish-fulfillment characters deserve their fate by the One True Trope Breaker, the Caped Baldy. ;D

Oh, I like the link to the previous story! Poor little innocent Milo. As always, splendid writing. I'm not usually a huge fan of digestion (I lean more towards the implied side of things), but you know just when and how to drag it out or cut it short in order to better send your message. Well, Goldeneye's message, I guess.

I'm not actually that much into digestion myself. It feels unnecessary, really. The swallowing is the focus. That's what matters. Digestion is merely torture, and torture is more fun psychologically than physically. But it's not a hindrance to me, and physical suffering is still delicious, so I threw it in.

And yes, it was quite pleasing how the two stories worked out. They were in fact totally unrelated to each other, there was no planning until I had the idea of linking them up and making Milo's official a judge who happened to be the one who sentenced Leshana.

Oooh, he got *that* ending! Being brought back to that fate is a great story aspect, one of the best parts of how Goldeneye works.

TheGuyWhoKnows

He was asking for a second chance, after all. And Goldie does like proving his power over death as well as life. Of course, Milo probably won't survive long before he's sent again for a more permanent stay... or just another resurrection. Who knows? The point is, Goldeneye is happy, and that is literally all that matters in the entirety of the universe. The selfish monster. : 3

To be sent through that digestive hell more than once is the best possible ending for readers. Not even having death as a means of escape is damn good. May be jealous a bit.

I'm sure Milo would be perfectly okay with any of us taking his place, if he had the chance.

TheGuyWhoKnows

It's nothing less than what delicious things like you deserve. Goldeneye would do it to everyone if it wasn't for the fact that he so desperately wants to keep devouring new people as well.

This makes me wonder what would happen if Milo got released and sent back to his old duties, would he still be able to bring himself to perform as a judge knowing there is no real justice in such a state.

TheGuyWhoKnows

Posted by TheGuyWhoKnows 8 years ago Report

Well, he's yours, it's up to you. I would imagine that he has very little chance of returning to public office, as Goldeneye does tend to prefer not to let his favoured possessions go. Ever.

But supposing that he did... he might decide that power can still be used for good, even if it's for a darker purpose overall. I don't think Goldeneye quite managed to teach him that there's no real goodness in the world. Which is what he wants. He wants his prey thinking of him as a true monster 'til the end.

Leshana

What is this 'end' you speak of?

TheGuyWhoKnows

Posted by TheGuyWhoKnows 8 years ago Report

Oh, nothing but a fantasy in the helpless minds of those creatures blessed to spend eternity returning again and again to my belly. A silly little idea, but it does mean they gain a sort of hope, that the pain and suffering might not be forever, so I encourage it. Mainly so that I can crush it.

damn that was a fantastic story, it's rare to see a fetish tale with such eloquent writing and fleshed out characters. Goldeneye is a sadistic, evil bastard and I have to say he stirred up emotions I don't usually find around here.
really well done. :p
