Another M'ress request from the guy who got me to draw her and Ripper a while back. Apparently the captain insisted a little too firmly that he wanted to "spend the night inside her."

The amusing result of saying that in this setting, they can use the transporter to beam people back into existence, is that they can't create matter from nothing. There must be a reservoir of "base matter" on board the ship. And since the ship is a closed environment for the most part, all "used" material has to be filtered and turned back into base matter in case they need it.

The upshot of this is that the new captain may be, at least partly, made of the old one's now-digested body. Especially if he gets eaten more than once. 83

After reading the description, I am now more interested in M'ress and wish to see more of her

Whether or not Strega draws more of her, she was introduced in the short lived animated series by Filmation as a sequel series to the original show.
Most of the original cast returned to reprise their roles. M'ress was introduced, and was voiced by Uhura's actres.

Interesting trivia.

Strega

Posted by Strega 6 years ago Report

She was in fact voiced by Majel Barrett, Roddenbery's wife. She has only a few minutes of screen time over the show and later shows up in various Star Trek books. She comes on to Sulu at one point in the show and in one comic, sort of ironically it turns out. There's also a great bit in one book where Scotty dresses up as a catman to try to seduce her (he got the idea from a costume party he went to where he was disguised as a bird alien and a female bird alien was disguised as a human, and they hit on each other).

shrunkenone

Oh, I was wrong. Sorry about that.

How did Scotty's seduction go?

Strega

Posted by Strega 6 years ago Report

Well, what happened was the ship's new (temporary) doctor forgot to program in M'ress's usual anti-heat drugs into her food supply (yes, that old chestnut of cat people going into heat, sorry M'ress) and she holed up in the Jeffries tubes and attacked anyone who came near. Scotty dressed as a catman to get close enough to stun her. This was about the time where Tigra was being treated in a similarly shitty way in the comics, too.

Ah, I see.
Speaking of Tigra, while unlikely, I'd loved to see her introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Especially if they keep her barefoot like in the comics.

Strega

Supposedly one of the new Disney streaming services shows is Tigra and Dazzler of all people. A cartoon series, but still.

Request: this might come off as a weird one but could you make a valeris vore image?

Strega

Posted by Strega 6 years ago Report

I'm not big on human preds and all my humans tend to look like Downs sufferers or horrific burn victims. 83

Gold1puffle

Posted by Gold1puffle 6 years ago Report

OK then. I'm sorry.

deathknight

The last part sounds like a ghoul joke from the fallout universe...or an excuse for fallout strega preds to nom people who were burning.

deathknight

Posted by deathknight 6 years ago Report

either that or well....thats one red shirt who got eaten in a unique way...

Wonder how early encounters with this species went x3
No beam technology all around ... growling catbellies surrounding the ensigns ;p

Strega

Most Caitians don't eat people, much less whole people. She must have picked up some pointers from Ripper. 83

Allard-Liao

It was truly a pity that Abrams didn't like this version of the caitians, and we instead got the...things from Into Darkness.

It may have also been that it was much easier to just put makeup on a couple of women than try to make more cat-like people. Though Doctor Who has some fine looking cat ladies that are just better done makeup.

testuser

Wonder how she would look with modern techniques.

testuser

Posted by testuser 6 years ago Report

-that is an actoress with modern makeup or CGI.

Strega

Posted by Strega 6 years ago Report

They have gotten quite good at realistic looking furries like Rocket, but the CGI is a real expense.

testuser

Posted by testuser 6 years ago Report

True -maybe if they did a netflix series then like discovery

New boss, same as the old boss? Side note, I just saw Shatner in Chicago the other day. He talked a lot about his dog.

Strega

Posted by Strega 6 years ago Report

He's a nice guy, doesn't take himself too seriously. I saw most of the cast of B5 at a con once but the only Star Trek person I've seen is Nichelle Nichols.

Badfurson

Posted by Badfurson 6 years ago Report

Yeah, he was really cool. He came onstage after a screening of Wrath of Khan. I'd love to have met the other cast members, if it'd been possible.
