I'm not sure if this is what happens but, the little headcannon I've been running with recently is that Cyby was envious over Lauren essentially being the leader on the "core realm" project, so, in a fit of rage, she made her own series of realms "except with Blackjack and hookers" as a way to "show-up" Lauren. In the process of doing this, she unknowingly caused her own creations to have a genetic desire to screw with the Core Realm. However, Cyby isn't aware of this going on because, after ended her period, she decided to "retire" and live a secluded life in one of the realms she made, and that's reason why her siblings have zero clue as to what happened to her.
Like I said, not sure if that's what happens, but that's the concept I'm starting to roll with.
