I'm sorry to hear about the circumstances that led to this change. I've unfortunately seen it first hand when sharing this within another server, as people jumped to conclusions to what the image implied despite your intention meant to leave it vague. Is situations like these where I struggle to share art pieces I find that i like, but others miss the point and take it down. For that, you have my condones.

…That being said, this has got to be one of my favorite drawing you have done by far. The original was amazing on its own, but the little banter between Gregory and Freddy made this even better. Plus you made Freddy look cute there. I'll be sure to share this far and wide for all to see.

why is it such a problem that people thuoght it was gregory? your ideals are just fine, leaving it vage. some people would enjoy it more visualising the prey as dear old greg, others will not. the fact the few have to be so vocal about it is... upsetting.

alas you still made the change of yur own volition, as you said the revelation made you yourself uncomfortable, one cannot but respect your choice, and none the less remains a fine piece, as ever on par with your quality ^^

I intended it to be vague but I clearly did not do a good job, as everyone ended up at one conclusion once they saw it. If the original had actually been as vague as I'd hoped there would have been no reason to remove it. Regardless, thanks for the kind words. :)

Once I started seeing it get taken down everywhere it got re-posted I realized that I'd definitely made an error in how the original was presented. I'm glad that everyone's been so cool about this decision, and it seems like people are still enjoying this updated version.

It seems more like Star made the decision on her own because she didn't agree with the way the Internet was interpreting the original piece. I admit, I did see "Underage Pred" in the tags for the original one, that's why I didn't fave it even though I wanted to. Some artists don't want to be associated with that either, but Eka's lets people slap whatever tags they want on a piece and after enough upvotes it's visible.

While I agree that some corners of the net are being poisoned by group thought, this is a case where Starcrossing wanted to clarify the perspective of the piece for her own benefit.

I do appreciate the change in this piece, honestly. It reads so much better. And it's nice to know that you took a stand against the unfortunate perspective that people were seeing the original with. I know I wanted to support the original but "Underage Prey" in the tags was something I couldn't support, and to know that wasn't even something you wanted to have associated with it? That's pretty bad that peoples' misconceptions can so easily steer a piece away from what it should be.

Honestly there was nothing wrong with your post just some people taking things too far yet again, at best there was implication but it wasn't implied fatal even at most it implied Gregory was the prey. People need to stop freaking out over nothing.

That said totally respect your decision to remove it.
Though would you ever be willing to upload a version of the original without dialogue? Mostly just to take out Gregory and Freddy from the background so nothing draws the eye away from the belly?
