Getting back to Taffy and her poses again, this time with some Valentine's Day treats! I know it isn't until tomorrow, just not sure I'll be online on time.
Pose number 26 is an appropriately pinkish Taffy holding a conversation heart. Apparently this "EAT ME" heart does exist, among the naughty parody versions of the candy.
Never was a huge fan of these candies. I actually do like dry, chalky candies like Popeye sticks and such, but conversation hearts just have a weird aftertaste. Taffy doesn't mind getting eaten with one, though!
Until then, she'll just sit there with a cute, coy look, grasping that candy and wiggling her toes back and forth to entice any passer-by pred...

Oh yeah, I remember these things growing up! I believe I actually read that the original company who made these things (Necco) were bringing them back after stopping a few years. Lots of good memories with these things for sure!

I didn't see them all that often myself, at least not in a while. Looking up references, it the originals aren't being made anymore, yeah

Don't mind if I do.
Those candies never fail to give me canker sores these days.

Oh geez yeah! I used to have canker problems with just about any of these tangy dry candies, that and the bleeding tongue... Been a while since I've bothered with any hard candy

We don't have conversation hearts in the UK, instead we have Lovehearts which are circular with hearts and messages etched on them, I think there might be "eat me" or at least "bite me" written on some of them.
They've a sweet, sherbet like flavour with fruity aftertastes for each colour, and the things are downright addictive. I don't even read the messages, I throw a load in my mouth and let them dissolve into a sweet, fizzy goop. Why, I think that's precisely what I'd do to little Taffy here, come to think of it.
No sense rushing things. Maybe she's eager to get to the stomach, but I don't have tastebuds down there.

Oh yeah, I've had Love Hearts lots of times, probably more than these conversation hearts, they certainly are better. Always thought they were more of a fruit flavour, but "sherbet" fits a bit better. Only thing is I found the raised hearts and letters sometimes hurt the roof of my mouth. Seemed there was more variety in messages than these ones too, but I thought these ones are more recognizable in pop culture.
Taffy's one to enjoy every moment of the trip, she wouldn't mind being sucked on for a while before the swallow!
