In high-speed aerobatics, all it takes is a split second for something to go horribly wrong, as the combination of high G turns and rapid acceleration made every exhilarating manoeuvre fraught with danger that never failed to get the heart pumping. It was this thrill-seeking to get a healthy shot of adrenalin shooting through her bloodstream that drove Rainbow Dash to force herself ever faster, as she zipped across the sky in a series of twirling pirouettes and dives.

The mare’s colourful contrail visible behind the blue blur, as she darted through her well-practised and meticulously rehearsed manoeuvres like a confident comet. Rainbow taking every twist and turn with a cool calmness, as the speeding Wonderbolt tested her skills against the open void of the sapphire heavens. The Pegasus pushing herself to full throttle, as she just savoured the cool air running over her curves, imagining the fans below cheering her name, as this reckless routine would be sure to turn heads at the next ariel tattoo.

The athletic equine soon working up a sweat, as she raced across the heavens performing all manner of tricks and stunts, that she just knew would look cool to anypony gawking far below her. The nimble pony exuding her normal in-flight cockiness, as the sporting speedster wanted to give it her all, even if this was just a bit of Wonderbolt training. A smile spreading over her muzzle as she zoomed ever higher, as to her everything was going just perfectly, until she pulled her wings back to perform a rather vanilla inverted Immelmann. The tight spin flawless, but the unexpected head-on collision that came next as she exited a cloudbank instantly putting a damper on the careening pegamare’s soaring sunshine, as she nosedived directly into her own digestive demise.

Rainbow catching the obstacle too late to avoid it, as to her sudden surprise she suddenly met a sudden pegapony obstacle 2000 feet off the ground. The abrupt airborne encounter too close for the hurtling mare to avoid, as by the time she realized the oblivious grey mailmare was there it was already too late for Rainbow to pull up and just buzz the unexpected course hazard. Time seeming to slow as Dash belted headlong towards the ditzy deliverymare, as the plunging Pegasus found herself trapped in a terminal vector of what was sure to be a nasty crash. The mare’s racing mind processing her predicament in an instant, as she instinctively cringed to brace herself for the brunt of the sudden impact of what was definitely going to be a hard-hitting impact.

Derpy completely ignorant to what was about to transpire, as she reached into her trusty to retrieve one of her favourite treats with a beaming grin spread across her snout. The mare’s hoof finding a fresh chocolate chip muffin from Sugar Cube Corner, which the equine deemed a fitting reward now that she had completed her morning rounds for the post office. The mare opening her mouth to receive the sweet treat as she blissfully fluttered along, eager to enjoy this little indulgence that she felt she had earned for all her hard work dropping off Ponyville’s post.

The open oral orifice creating a new threat, as Rainbow barrelled haplessly towards the gaping precipice of Derpy’s dilated gob, which had eagerly yawned ajar to receive its promised saccharine snack. The Wonderbolt in aghast horror as she sped towards the dank darkness of the back of the blissfully unaware pegamare’s throat like an acrobatic asteroid. Derpy failing to notice her as the slate mare closed her eyes and casually cast the cupcake directly into her slathering maw, at the exact moment Rainbow thumped over her tongue, causing the panicked Pegasus to plunge straight into the agape gullet before her.

The frictionless tunnel of the throat just taking her, as in the blink of an eye the element of loyalty was just a lively lunch neatly bundled up in cute courier’s misshapen middle. The swelling shuddering as it settled within the snug embrace of the swaying stomach, causing Derpy to go wide-eyed, as today’s muffin was significantly denser than her normal fair. The normally diligent deliverymare not realizing what had just oozed down her oesophagus, as with a strong gulp she secured what she thought was a rather defined lump of Pinkie’s classic baking. This reflexive response leaving Rainbow to glide down the moist gullet with a shunting slither, as a toned parcel of careening Pegasus protein, before she hit the sweltering depths of Derpy’s stomach with a sour splash.

The mare not even getting a second to settle, as the moment the stomach sphincter sealed over her hind hooves, did the churning cavity clamp down to claim its confused pony prize. Rainbow’s normally proud and photogenic physique now little more than a bundled-up bulge of quivering biomass, as in the blink of an eye the energetic equine was reduced to a wriggling clump of cowering calories. The mare not getting a chance to properly compute the steamy space she had been cosily sheathed in, as by the time she worked out she was trapped in a tummy it was already kneading over her like a punishing press.

The equine’s existence briskly ending with a guttural growl from the gut, as the defined shape of a packed away Pegasus straining the skin swiftly rounded out, with only a few crackles and pops to mark Rainbow’s dissolving departure. Derpy rapidly metabolizing her massive meal, as before the curled-up female could even squeal she was already a shrinking lump of fizzling flesh. The substantial size of the unexpected sustenance not fazing the stomach, as it just came to a boil and transformed the supple tissue and brittle bones within it into a Pegasus puree in an impressive display of power digestion.

Derpy opening her eyes from a sudden cramp, as the muffin evidently was not agreeing with her insides, as it ground into her gastric chamber like a lead weight. The mare sputtering, struggling to breathe for a second as her bloated belly went to work with glorping gurgles in an attempt to deal with the problematic pastry. A second later a prismatic Phuurt, erupting out of the pegamare’s ponut as she voided the gas siphoned off from the rapidly metabolized mass of mare meat brewing in her bowels. The mare’s body dealing with Rainbow just like any other food, as the gut gave no favours to its famous guest, who it was quick to grind into a simmering chyme.

Rainbow Dash’s last breath mixed in with the thunderous technicolour toot, which caused Derpy’s belly to gradually deflate during the drawn-out course of the thunderous fart. A collection of chromatic colours mixed in with the reeking wind, as the melted mare could not help but add her signature swagger to the grotty bout of gastric gas that was rapidly making its escape through Derpy’s twitching tail hole. The prolonged poot releasing the majority of the rancid atmosphere percolating through the mailmare’s piping, and though some of the processed Pegasus would probably leave as something more solid later that day, the majority of the repurposed Rainbow seemed quite happy to be flank fat and a backdoor burp.

The puckered bumhole blinking as the blow-off ceased, leaving Derpy’s nose to crinkle as she got a good whiff of her own septic stench. Her hoof coming to her trim middle, as though it had returned to its normal streamlined slender, a more diligent pony might have detected the fresh layer of adipose padding the pony’s slightly plumper figure. Derpy nursing her midsection, as if expecting another round of indigestion from the liquidated muffin now trickling towards her turd cutter, to create more nasty surprises along her normally tender tubing.

The mare still blind to the fact that there would be multicoloured mane hairs the next time she wiped, as with a few flaps of her wings she made her way back to work. A confused look on Derpy’s face, as she tried to rationalize her negative response to what was normally a staple part of her diet. Perhaps Pinkie had changed the recipe, or maybe it was just bad flour, the mare pondering what had just played out, before just chalking it up to a bad batch, as she would not get her to swear off her favourite dessert. The mare giving a shrug, though she had to ask herself…

“What was in that muffin?...”
