In "canon" Graduation, lots of humans are getting eaten, but this raises a natural question -- where are all these tasty humans COMING from, anyway? Humans in Scotland (the "main" setting) are lovingly raised like luxury pets, educated and treated as equals (albeit edible equals), but not all places are so utopian.

In fact, across the Atlantic over in America, a different group of anthros (aka pellis) have instead experimented with mass farming/ranching of humans as livestock. How else will they keep all those hungry bellies full, after all?
