Preds seem to be stronger than normal people in this world. and given that they can hide in plain sight they seem to have a good thing going.

Im just wondering if there's a specific reason their hiding. I suppose to avoid mass hysteria like you Devilman comparison points out.

It seems like Preds might also just like living amongst humans from what I can tell in these comics....

It was obvious to me that preds would have infiltrated the higher spheres of influence in your universe, considering what you had revealed so far. But developing propaganda to allow preds to hide in plain sight?
Now that's a very nice touch of worldbuilding, and a very creative one! It kinda makes the setting a little darker, somehow :p

Also, is Clair a new character? I don't remember seeing her before.
