Autumn, after work, you had a long day. Everything is grey and muddy,
Still, you decide to take a walk to clear your head. It's that odd, lone street,
far away, in the village skirts with a few houses, closest to the train station.
There is that house that offers rentals for folks who travel.
Since the rent is so cheap, it's fairly popular with people who seek
nightlife in the nearest city.
There is talk in the village about it, but nothing concrete.
It is a rather sad story about this woman whose family disappeared.
They went missing on a hike, Left her, plane crash, nobody knows.
It's all just gossip. Ever since, she stopped going out and started
making her living by offering rentals. The few others who live on
this street are odd, too.
Contrary to most of the village, people on this street are outsiders
in the community. Nobody knows anything about them.
It wouldn't be surprising if there were a sect here, though nobody
ever complained. One thing is certain: they must have been caring
for that lady since they had been bringing all her groceries. Lots of it, too.
Usually, it's all meat products from the local butchery. Meals for the
guests who stay a night or two?
Looking up, you notice you're about to walk alongside her house.
It's a three-story building with the lower two stories all renovated and new,
the top part still old in its original state. All the curtains are closed.
It looks like nobody is renting at the moment.
Suddenly, your focus shifts to a nearby dumpster.
You realize a perfectly fine-looking phone is on the top of the trash.
You pick it up and clean it. Surprisingly, there is no lock. Battery low,
full with unread messages, error notifications, and no reception.
You check the gallery folder, hoping to find some clues.
You play the last video recorded. It's short. Before you realize what you're watching,
you're alerted to the sound of the door opening. Looking up,
a 12-foot-tall fat but at the same time skinny female figure stands
hunching down in the doorframe of the house, a fat plump gut hangs in her lap.
Her big black eyes lock your gaze. "Are You looking for accommodation?"
The next thing you know is a sharp pain in the back of your head,
and darkness takes you.
