Honestly, there have been a lot of irl developments, breakthroughs and (writing) dry spells in the past few months that have made me pause and dramatically adjust the trajectory of the Alleycat story from what I originally envisioned it to be. Both my visit back to India and the ensuing months of research have led to a waterfall of worldbuilding that has made the story so much stronger than what it was slated to be, and I cannot wait to bring these elements of the Alleycat universe to life.
