Fighting crime was much harder than
Kamala had ever expected. She could enlarge her fists and punch
through a brick wall with ease, but most of the time she didn't feel
all that empowered. Really, she was lucky New Jersey only had one
supervillain, and he was enough as it was.
"Bed...need...bed..." she
had managed to sneak back into her house without her parents
noticing; the last thing she needed was to get grounded yet again.
