It was the first thing Twilight Sparkle heard as she awoke from her peaceful slumber. The rumbling, she knew, of her own stomach. At some point it became easy to tell the difference between one’s own bodily noises and any other pony’s, even for something as universal as a hungry stomach begging for breakfast. Not being one to keep herself waiting for a good meal, she opened her eyes and lifted her hooves above her head to stretch them.
