The Dancer and Terry - Pateron Commission
Hey, everybody.
This one probably won't take too long. Just saying things are a bit fucky right now and I don't know how long before I upload something new. Every time I draw I feel awful. I want to be Modeseven or Hinomars19 or BIGBIG but I just don't seem to improve at all no matter how much I draw or what I draw. As if that wasn't bad enough, I can actually draw things from photo reference half alright on paper. It's just things I actually get excited to draw that I, unfortunately, can't draw. Overall I've really just been feeling beat down as far as trying to make progress, and most things now feel draining to do. Feeling especially hopeless about college and money, so that's been eating up a lot of my thoughts. I definitely will return, but it might be a minute and...

More or less. I have looked at a number of tutorial pics and such, but I mostly use them also as a ref. Granted how I did it may not work for everyone. The best I can say is find the method that works best for you.

Well I wouldn't say resources. I just used references and kept trying to improve how I drew things. In fact, I think a major part of my improvement has been my increasing use of refs for my work. XP

Regardless, godspeed with your art journey, honestly, I'd say look high than low, its good to learn from mistakes but its way better to learn what works and speaks to you more

Sadly its not east to access all my old work as its mostly been wiped from the internet. You can find it around on sites like Ehentai and some booru sites but otherwise theres no true archive.
