Yeah, I know it's not really an animation, strictly speaking. It's also really sketchy looking. It's kind of a proof of concept, I wanted to see how long it would take me to make something like this.

Do let me know what you think about this one!

Very nice so far, I'd say. I am not that much into absorbtion and such, but it looks good. With a few more steps betwen the current pictures, it will look great - sketchy or not.

I was never one for absorption but I do really like this. Very well done.

HA love how she tried to get away. Love the test, hope to see a full product.

Great job!

Beautiful :) There's something to be said for a few well-crafted frames. While it's sketchy, it's full of life!

To clarify, I don't think intermediate frames would improve this. The fading transition is a nice effect, don't you think?

Mm, interesting concept. I like the idea. The animation is rather chunky, but it works okay.

I absolutely love this. One day we will have to talk about commissions again if you keep working on these :D

I agree with AndrewLondon, the missing frames take nothing away, and the gist of the absorption/envelopment genre is well covered here *swoons*

Ha ha! It's just an animated .gif, so I guess it would display on most stuff.

racer_xtreme

It looks great, though you lose the proportions on her neck for a couple frames... or was that intentional?

MadameBelli

Posted by MadameBelli 13 years ago Report

No, that was intentional, although it doesn't quite work I think.

racer_xtreme

Posted by racer_xtreme 13 years ago Report

I still think it looks good, it definitely makes room to maintain the aspect on the prey figure...

Hey, glad you all like it! *beams*

I'm just using my trusty photoshop at the moment, if I do get into this animation thing I might try to find something a bit more powerful.

Thanks so much for your feedback. <3
