Our friend the gold dragon soaks up some loving attention after disposing of a couple of pesky manticores who were bothering a Khardaki lion-people family. Given the size difference this is about all they can manage, but the Gold isn't complaining, and pretty soon it might be the lioness who gets soaked. 83
Whilst drawing the Gold it occurred to me that the lion people would probably think Golds are pretty darn nifty. This sort of thing probably happens more often than you'd think and I am sure the occasional half lion-person, half dragon hybrid is the result.

Oooh, very nice. :) I like the bulge in the dragon's belly and how you can see the bellyplates spreading out slightly. It's a nice little detail :)

I still thumb through his Nivlek comic every now and then. The diapers drive me away eventually, but it's cute in a cartoony way.

Nivlek went into babyfur territory really early, actually. I read through it again at one point to see where the rot set in and it was in the first ten strips. I kept hoping he would swing back the other way, I have absolutely no interest in a setting where everyone wears diapers. ESPECIALLY when they also eat people, which reminds you all that mass has to end up IN a diaper. Ugh.

Well, if this is the D&D setting, a dragon like that could polymorph into something easily satisfied by a normal-sized creature. Guess that's not as fun, though.

That's the canonical way hybrids happen, but I like to think that when the dragon is in human (or whatever) form it can only sire that sort of kids. Otherwise you have to speculate about magical species-shifting spooge.
