How to Play: Read the comic and then choose in the strawpoll link below what Tanya should do next.
Make sure to pay attention to Tanya's Stats. Charm determines how easily Tanya can sway others and cause them to do her bidding through seduction or other means. Stomach shows how hungry she is. If her meter gets too low, the quest may be railroaded, or Tanya doing something opposite of what the majority of people voted for. Vigor is vital for Tanya to do certain tasks that may require more effort than normal. Vigor can be seen as a combination of energy and mood.
There are also Current Sounds to keep in mind. Tanya is a rabbit with large ears! This means she uses her hearing almost constantly to remain aware of her surroundings. Current sounds can give a hint as to whether you should be careful in a specific situation or can do activities freely.
I'm looking for a lot of participation with this quest, so please chip in! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

give Kuva a massage as well to keep her asleep and for gods sake don't vote to eat her because that's retarded and would make pretty much everyone we have met hostile to us if we kill her.
(we went on this Quest to help Kuva rescue her little sibling trying to eat her would make us seem super evil and have no motivation as a character)

well you know for a fact that most people will try their best to vote for a vore options no matter what it means for the story but I doubt a massage would keep her asleep I say wake her up and explain the situation that way we get the problem out of the way and hope we survive with her as a stomach roommate XD

well sure if kuva survives bonus points if she is drawn nude next even more points but I doubt that even then I don't really know what to vote for here besides just getting a future problem over with now by waking her up to explain so if she tries to eat us we can defend ourselves

Clearly, we should just get the loincloth off of her and claim that it fell off when she was being eaten. And wake her up with something fun, like a kiss. Or positioning Tanya somewhere very... hard to ignore, again blaming the stomach. Accidents happen in those tight fleshy things!

Sleep cuddled up to Kuva. With her legs or hands wrapped around Kuva, so if she wakes up, she'll wake up Tanya as well.

We should not eat Kuva. We need as many friends as we can get right now and we need someone to vouch for us back at the village. Someone pissed off at us for eating them is a big problem for us in this situation. We should instead try to rest as best we can and give her a chance. We can explain the situation then and probably calm her down. If she eats us, Java may decide that Kuva is too dangerous and simply digest her. If we really need to restrain her in the end, we should unbirth instead of eat her. Java needs Kuva for information and killing her is a one way trip to a reset.

Also, maybe warn Java that Kuva might be waking up soon and ask for anything to restrain her with. That way she is informed on the situation and can maybe help us solve this problem.

Hide the ball as well. Kuva may jump the gun and cause problems for us if she finds it. Whether that means we eat the ball or simply have it placed securely beneath us while we sleep is one of the options. Just before Java spits us out, we should swallow the ball and wait for an oppurtnity to spit it out. Thoughts.

If unbirth is an option, then it could be an alternative to pursue. Otherwise my own suggestion for cuddling up and wrapping some limbs around Kuva is likely the better, non-assholish option *shrugs*

Tanya definitely needs some rest. Though there's some risk, this seems to be a time for trusting others... she's already at Java's mercy. I think she should try and sleep. Entwining herself with Kuva so that she -might- wake up if Kuva stirs seems like an acceptable course of action.

Open ended again, eh? Time for me to get to it.
Well, I'm still personally against the whole "eat/unbirth/whatever Kuva" plan I've seen thrown around in past pages. I love the vores as much as the next person around here, but I play to win. Kuva seems like a potentially valuable resource, not to mention we're literally in this mess because we agreed to help her, and it would be such a shame to waste. At the very least she's got a couple of younger siblings I wouldn't feel great about making into orphans. They were cute.
So the goal is to achieve vigor points through resting, with a decent implication that sleeping will at the very least recover more of them. Potential of gaining none if we do not sleep, but I'd deem that unlikely. Rest is rest after all.
That being said, obvious directions are "trust and do nothing about Kuva" or "do not trust and do something about Kuva." Trust and do nothing is risky for obvious reasons.
Step one regardless: we can communicate with Java quite easily. Ask her if there's anything to worry about; if Java says Kuva will stay down the whole trip, or otherwise states that there's no reason to worry about Kuva, take her word for it, I can hardly imagine a scenario where Java would lie about this.
So actually doing something about it, though. That's trickier. Resources are just about the same as last time; we still have her necklace which would be useful for binding her, but tying Kuva's hands probably won't make much of a difference in these close quarters when all she really needs is her mouth. Similarly, tying up Kuva's mouth won't help much if her hands are still free.
If Java can't offer reassurances, and tying Kuva up doesn't do much good, what exactly can we do at this point..? Other than straight up murdering Kuva our options are extremely limited. Killjoy's suggestion of waking her up and talking to her seems like the only real possibility short of accepting the risk and going to sleep having done nothing, or staying awake and potentially wasting the point of having let Java eat Tanya in the first place.
Unless I can think of some mysterious additional possibility, my vote is the following: Mention the problem to Java in case Java has information we do not that makes the whole point moot. If she does not, wake up Kuva (with Java's knowledge of what's going on; safety is the prime concern here and Java seems to care at least somewhat, let's use our ability to communicate with all parties) and explain the situation. Be ready to restrain her if the need arises due to her panicking instantly, but do not bind her hands because that would likely only give her more reason to panic.

I agree with this, eating her is too risky and could end up accidentally killing, and that will make any ensuring fights with the stranger and possibly Jabaro tougher.
We can also use the fact that we kept a secret for her as a point for trusting us.

Frazone has convinced me; updating my vote to: Ask Java if Kuva will stay asleep the whole time, and if the answer is affirmative then stop worrying about it. If negative, or chance, pull Kuva to Tanya and rotate her so Kuva and Tanya are facing the same direction before sleeping with arms around Kuva. Also, yeah, take a moment to listen to Kuva's mutterings in case they're "I'm gonna murder that rabbit first chance I get."

First, I think we should find out what she's muttering about. Might give us some clues as to what kind of mood she is likely to wake up in as well as giving the opportunity to learn more about her that might come in useful later. Assuming she doesn't seem too agitated then we should be safe to take a nap and trust Java's hypnotrance thing to keep her under.
Then, if possible, lets position ourselves behind the cheetah and as, balanced-guy suggested, cuddle up close. That way we should get a chance to wake up if she starts moving about and Kuva will also have to turn around before she can eat us. We've already gone through that muzzle once, lets at least make it so that she has to turn around and hopefully wake us before we take that trip a second time.
Finally, we should swallow the poison-dart-bra ball. Kuva waking up and seeing us with it is unlikely to lead to any good results. From her not taking the time to understand our (totally ulterior motive free) reasons for taking it, to her unwrapping it to see what’s inside and poisoning herself or Java, there are a lot of ways that could go wrong. Plus if Kuva does manage to eat us we would then be able to smuggle our emergency escape item into a second stomach. Hopefully the bra is resistant enough to withstand our belly for a few hours at least.

There's certainly a large risk involved in deliberately eating sharp and poisonous items but there is also a lot of risk in letting our carnivorous and extremely proud belly mate find out that we stole her clothing.
Still, the bra looks pretty thick. I think we can take that chance, at least as long as we don't stay asleep for too long. Another reason is that even if Kuva decides to hear us out on the whole stripping her down while she was asleep business, we couldn't easily explain our reasons without Java overhearing.

Sorry, I looked up more on the subject and it turns out that depending on the poison, it can just as easily poison us. I deleted it to avoid misinformation. Instead of eating it, why don't we just place the ball securely underneath us? If she tries to get to it, she will have to wake us up with all the movement and Tanya being a light sleeper. No risk of poisoning there. And before Java lets us out, then we eat the ball. We then wait for an oppurtnity to hack it up and hide it later.

Unbirth was suggested on page 42 vote poll so why can't it be used this time for real? So far on FidchellVores account unbirth hasn't been used in any fatal situations so I don't see why it can't be helpful now especially in regards to making sure Kuva doesn't do anything drastic. Just hope they don't need to be too concerned about the groaning noises from below them and that it doesn't affect them in any way that could be bad in the future. I am kind of curious about what Kuva is muttering about in her sleep. Just as long as they're both comfortable with no fear of death it's good enough for me although maybe if Kuva was unbirthed by Tanya to give her more comfort and maybe build some kind of bond with her through that it could make things a little more interesting right?
Just hope it's a possibility if not now then maybe sometime/day in the future. I just can't wait to see more pages of "A Rabbit Astray" and what happens next. Hope the votes pick something interesting gotta keep the series exciting.

Well, I believe Fidchell mentioned on furaffinity that he wants to keep this "clean" for now. Plus, Tanya may not be that type of gal.
The stomach noises could easily just be the stomach being empty and groaning because of it. We haven't seen any signs on the outside that she had recently eaten anything to warrant that.

Unbirth has been used in his other works before for example Healing Womb was a piece of art FidchellVore made in the Commissions/Requests plus with two other characters of his known as Nino and Viola Stoat in one of their comics called "The Special Day" so who's to say that it can't play a part briefly in this series?

It seemed to be a popular vote last time, so I'm gonna go with unbirthing Kuva here, that way even though she'll think she's been eaten, she'll quickly realize she wasn't when it doesn't start to itch and doesn't smell like a stomach.
Another idea that MIGHT work... I say MIGHT because there's still the chance she'll panic and this idea would put Tanya in even MORE danger from Kuva's claws... attempt to rotate Kuva around and mush her muzzle between the ample bosom of our bunny protagonist. People seem to like the idea of possible lesbian/bi relations later in this quest, so what better way to start them off than by giving Kuva something soft and squishy to focus on besides the soft and squishy stuff she's currently wrapped up in?

Heh... ear vore her! Nah just playing around. Reading through the comments and such I know why unbirth hasn't been done yet now so moving on. The author ultimately is going to try and feed the masses but is trying to make sure every can see on multiple sites with multiple policies.
Ahem, anywho that being said we have no real method of non lethal voring at the moment. There is no real way of defending the poison dart after Tanya rests. Kuva will likely look for her bra, find the dart, and use it. That in itself is a time bomb.
We can have her wake Kuva and tell her what is going on and hope for the best. I suggest that Tanya now tell Java that she has the dart. Explain to her it was last minute insurance and hope she does not take it too hard. Then have Java chuck it out.
I can see three ways this could end right now. Java forgives her for taking the dart and moves on, she gets rid of the dart and then eats both because of being un-trustworthy, or when Java returns home she binds the both of them for questioning.

It is simply not an optimal situation at the moment. Perhaps Kuva could hide the dart inside her own innards? Then it would be the same problem all over again with the fabric.

Tanya should position herself behind Kuva, pinning her arms to her sides with a hug. This will alert her if Kuva starts to stir, and put her in a favorable position if she struggles.
Hold the dart ball between her legs or under her chin - don't want it to become unwound or lose track of it.
Then try to get some rest while she can.

Anyways, I'd wait for Kuva to wake up so that we can calm her down before taking a nap. Or better et, we can ask Java to warn Kuva against eating us both somehow.
Something like telling them: "If any of you eat the other while inside me, I am not letting either of you out."
Like, we should ask Java help us convince Kuva not to eat us. It could happen, if we are not careful. If things geet out of hand, we still have the dart.
