Being a Scotsman, I can give you some feed back on the food chooses.

*White chocolate spread also works really well. Or just some nice butter
*Need to treat a full Scottish Breakfast when next over.
*The Yorkshire Puddings are the best bit about Sunday roasts.
*Have to try a Special Fish supper at some point, it's breaded instead of battered so has a different taste
*Good choose of Tea with Twinnings.
*Soft serve ice cream for the win.
*Need to try some Scottish Crumpets, they are lovely with some butter.
*Didn't realise you could still get faggots.
*And yeah, the weather can suprise you at times.

They should be rather simple food though,
Fried fish and potatoes, yet British fresh ingredients are just so good enough to make the 'simple food' to an amazing dish xD

I love London the grumpy non interaction of everyone letting you get on and enjoy your company and that of others you choose to. If you visited Hampstead you would have been on the same earth as the bit I was born and raised on and if you managed to visit Regents Park you would have been able to get a rare view of the great city.

Though when I was young, there was only two tall buildings in London.

It depends!
Though I can say that even if I could get the 'same' things in different countries,
they actually will be quite different, and you can feel it better, since you have them in your place.
Sadly(?) most of the things were just better than where I live. lol
