Well Pokemon Sun and Moon released 5 years ago today, so I thought it was about time for Lillie to come home again. So please enjoy this little "sequel" of sorts.

And if you're interested, a little background on this piece:
This is something I've wanted to do for a very long time, really since I replayed Moon last year for the first time since 2016. The game came out during a very difficult time for me, only a few months after I'd lost someone very important to me. Nothing can ever change what happened then, but I can at least use the skills I've developed drawing for all of you over the past three years to give Lillie and Elio a better ending. Now while working on this, which took about a month and a half to complete, I managed to draw something every single day in that time. I think it's the longest period of consistent drawing I've ever had. It probably didn't seem like it to you all, since I was mainly working on this, but it should tell you somewhat how much I enjoyed the process.

Also to whomever added the tags for all the pokemon: thanks, I knew I didn't have to do it myself!

to find a piece like this on a site like this is very different, but it’s honestly a very nice break away from the norm. the story within it and the backstory behind it are both very touching. i don’t really know you all that well, Mr. Fork, but i respect you and appreciate your contributions to this community, and i appreciate you putting out art that is more than just what people expect to find :-)

i feel it’s important to remind an artist that despite being engaged within a very particular community, there will always be someone who will understand that the artist is still human and doesn’t need to constantly cater to the community with every new piece they make; that it’s okay for the artist to freely express themself because ultimately art is still art, and for every art piece, there is someone who will appreciate it. really, if i could buy a print of this piece to hang on my wall, i would; i haven’t even played this particular pokémon game, but it’s the story around the piece i know of now that resonates so deeply within me

It can be so very easy to forget sometimes on this site that even though we're mostly here for the fetish work, there's something so great about getting just kind pieces like this.
