Nyx was bored. It had been about two hours since they had set foot on this planet, along with the rest of their trainee class, and about the most exciting thing that had happened had been when Ramona Smalls was reprimanded for commenting on the shape of a particularly erect rock formation. (As if they were rowdy teenagers being corralled on a field trip, and not adults on the world's least exciting practice mission with every right to liven up the mood.
