Honestly, I think it looks cooler and more authentic after being broken.

Maybe use some light brown and off-white washes that match the outer color to make it looks less artificial with the plaster white stick out.

One was a stone-mask, which I also fixed it.
But another one was a big Cuban cigar... which is not really repairable xD

Great fix! On the bright side, now it looks more like an real ancient artifact with all of those cracks and fissures. Since the original calendar would have been carved from stone, one more addition to make it perfect would be to mix up a little paint to match the calendar's stone colors and paint over all the spots with the white plaster showing. If you wanted to restore it a bit more, there is a modelers putty called Milliput that comes in a tube like toothpaste that you can fill all the cracks and gaps. It dries hard in a few hours and can be painted as well.

I guess the fact that I glued it together is another nice story to tell.

Well, most people's lives tend to be a broken mess and it is up to each one of us to pick the pieces and try to put it all together.

That and the Mayan calendar looks more authentic now that it is a little bit broken. Might want to pick up some nice sandstone coloured hobby paint and paint over the white porcelain.
