townsfolk watched in awe and not a little trepidation as the Good
Knight Geia mounted her horse. She looked queenly, astride the beast,
tall as the roofs of the village houses. The common folk around her,

Cassandra and her
friends had been to the hidden beach before. A breezy alcove carved
by ancient rivers out of the cliffs on either side of them, past
purpled woods that spilled down from the highway like an overturn of
