Spriteling
Cassandra was like many other girls in the small town of Glenwood; she had long brown hair, blue eyes, and stood about three inches tall. One of many hidden homes of a race of tiny humans, often called spritelings in the legends of other races, Glenwood was located in several trees in a secluded area of a large forest. Only those given special permission, after taking various challenging tests, were allowed to wonder outside the trees and the subterranean tunnels that connected them

Once upon a
time, there was a town. However, this town was not peaceful in the
least. It was regularly terrorized by a monster in a nearby cave. The
monster demanded female sacrifices, or it would attack the town. This
has gone on for many years, and the town was running out of women.
The monster decreed that if the town ran out of females, that its
sacrifices would have to be male. However, there were fewer males
than females in the town before the monster appeared, so the
townspeople
