When it comes to characters, well, prey characters especially, there is always a bit of a trade off when it comes to the supernatural:
It does give you more to play with, but there is a certain aspect to a prey that is just normal and helpless against the might of a predator that you can stand the chance of losing.
Hehe, well, Malus, both as catboy and as anthro cat as well as my dragon character are likely the closest to alter egos. And they pretty much are on a slider of mischievous versus purely submissive.

It's not that I want my life to be more like that story, but rather that I find that story to lose a little of its impact when it gets to the end. You put forth a lot of effort and time to making the narrator's feelings of inadequacy and sorrow relatable that it makes the story more driven. You lost that attachment at the end by giving it such a huge divide from reality. The lead up is well developed and the dynamics are incredible. I did intend it to be more of short, focused scene, something that cuts right to the action, inspired a bit by a vore vignette story Jizzal did on Furaffinity.^^

For starters, no, the minotaur did not know what was coming, I think he was a bit too simple to grasp it, unlike the newts.^^
