But yeah, the first puzzle is generally supposed to be easy. Fooling around and failing (on purpose) gets you a dinner date with a Strong, High-Leveled Snake monster.

Yeah, the answer is LITERALLY all over the walls.

But, given this is a potential game scene, I'm pretty sure the player knew this, knew the repercussions, and most likely was a voraphile, meaning they most likely failed on purpose just to see this.
