I actually forgot exactly where I got the idea to draw this...though, I think it was from a video on ProJared's YouTube (way back before the fallout). But, I was watching something, and I got really inspired to draw an Axe wielding Mage as melee mages aren't exactly common. Though, I imagine a mage wouldn't normally bother with melee weapons unless they had good reason to, hence, the magic Axe.
I Kinda' like this idea.

Was inspired by the DnD monster, Cloaker. However, I decided to change it up a bit to make it more like a mimic monster instead of a manta ray looking thing.

One first appeared in the module Secret of the Slavers Stockade. In that its hanging on a wall amongst other cloaks and looks like a semi-circular cape with lots of button-like eyespots. Claws at the ends and a tail, both of which it retracts when waiting. On the underside was a mouth in the center.
It would either wait to be put on, or fly at a victim and wrap around them. They had various powers like a mind numbing moan and mirror image power.
Jeff Dee's illustration looks nothing like the description.
May have been 3e where they became cave squids that dropped on you.

Monster Bait
Proficiency in this class means higher encounter rates with monsters with a taste for human flesh. While having below average stats in a few areas, the job comes with EXTREMELY high HP and Luck growth. In addition, the job levels up quickly (MUCH lower EXP requirements compared to other job classes).
Can't tell you about weapons though, but if you were hoping for a stellar armor class, it'd be best to look somewhere else. :P

Kept looking at Urniconda from Yo-Kai Watch and kept saying to myself, I want my own version! So I drew it.
Honestly the monster-in-a-box idea really can be a fun thing when you think well outside the limitations of a box.
Though, looking back on it, I probably won't draw this guy many more times, due to the fact that Nasty Serprize was my original answer to Urniconda. Still, this was a fun one.
