SHINOBI TRIALS
Part 3/3
Kyoko silently dashed around the house,
gathering up the remaining incense pots and opening the windows to
let the last wisps dissipate. Five minutes at most before the
sisters get home, she thought, disposing of the pots in the trash
without a care. Still four hours to midnight. I got caught by
surprise last time but these will be the last two. Let's see, where
would be the ideal location to separate them for a bit? ...I got it.

SHINOBI TRIALS
Part 2/3
Kyoko dumped the last of the tea-soaked
paper towels into the trash and glanced over her handiwork. The
kitchen was now as spotless as it had been when she'd arrived,
possibly even moreso. It wasn't like she didn't have the time.
Shortly after digesting her prey, she'd gone investigating and found
a notice in the room of the two brothers notifying them that football
practice was cancelled for today. It had even been so kind as to list
the usual time, meaning the ninja had

Part 1/3
Kyoko remained motionless inside the
lush green foliage of the tree, peering out at the house across the
street. Her outfit was military green camouflage with a mask at the
moment, though she could change it whenever she desired.
All of the blinds were drawn, with one
white car in the driveway, and a bit of mail sticking out of the
mailbox down by the sidewalk. Just an ordinary house in an ordinary
American city. Of course, this particular American city had been

The
Diamonton spa was palatial, there was no other word for it.
Sprawling, pristine rooms of white marble branched off each hallway.
Meticulously manicured ferns and shrubs decorated every corner, along
with orchids that probably cost more to raise and maintain than most
children. It was a place for the very wealthy, and thus a place for
those who valued their privacy and secrecy. It was for this reason
that Mariska Slavov spent most of her time there.
Mariska,

Can
you believe it? A new science museum, and this one's only a town
over!" squealed the teacher, bouncing up and down.
"Uh
huh..." said her aide. "And this one's got a touch tunnel
too..."
The
aide was staring the entrance of the attraction with a conflicted
look upon her face. Last time she'd been through one of these there
had been... unexpected discoveries which only SHE seemed to have
noticed. On one hand, it was bizarre. On the other...

Cara trotted into the market square,
clutching the shopping list in one hand. She hated coming here,
feeling so out of place in the noise and bustle away from the
comforting quiet of the goldsmith’s shop. But it need not be a long
trip. She’d just collect the materials that had been requested by
the master goldsmith, and go back.
“Oh, there she is!”
Cara glanced up. Anyone acknowledging
her entering the square was a rare enough occurrence to catch her off
guard. Cara liked to be by herse

I
have just finished the day at work. The last spreadsheet is collated
and saved. I close the office behind me and get to the bus stop just
in time to see the brake lights of the bus fade around the corner. I
groan. Walking home will only take twenty-five minutes, but in
professional shoes my heels will be sore by the time I get there.
I've
made it just past the Krizik Singing Fountain and am waiting to cross
