Cool! I use Faber Castells quite a bit too. You use them quite effectively and developed a cool style with them.

The first few things I posted were my attempts at using a brush and dip pens with ink but I switched back to the art markers because I felt more confident with them.

I use a pretty haphazard collection of markers. In addition to the Faber Castells I have a Pentel to give my initial lines some width variation (though I'm not very good at using it), an ultra-fine 0.05 technical pen for crosshatching, and a Prismacolor for the big black areas.

As for the talking, "marinate yourself in pain" is actually a pretty cool turn of phrase! Though if I were to have my feet uncomfortably prepared by a pred, I think I would prefer "pickling by tickling" to a shard marinade.

Very good! Too bad the gentleman on the left isn't as happy about having his face in someone else's foot as some of your other characters are!

I like drawing wedding rings on some of my victims too. It is a good way to quickly infer some back story for the character. Though his wife may not necessarily be the grieving widow. I heard she took out a big life insurance policy before introducing her husband to the dragon next door. Now she's in Tahiti.
