Kaitlin's morning started with a quick trip up the stairs. Fresh treats straight out of the oven rested on the plate in her hand, but when her foot caught on the step below her it was quickly released. Gravity shifted and her eyes went wide as she started to fall, but luckily there was another set of smaller hands to catch the plate she dropped before it hit the ground. Kaitlin, however, was not so lucky, and hit the next step up with an audible sigh of pain.  "Kaitlin! Are you okay?"

Vera's
back hit the wall with a soft intensity, looking up to her partner
with a shy smile. Vixie had talked her into going home for the first
time since they started dating, and while Vera worried it was too
soon she eventually gave in. Vixie placed a paw under Vera's chin,
lifting slowly and indulging in a kiss.

how much you can learn about someone in a week," she cooed,
