John returned home from work to find
his father’s house seemingly quiet. That wouldn’t have been a
surprise, typically, since he’d been divorced for so long so it was
just him. But since John was away at college, his father had met
someone new and gotten re-married. And over the summer, as John

Mary was enjoying her life. She had
recently gotten her Master's Degree in Business and moved to Fort
Wayne, Indiana. She now worked as an assistant manager and local
store that sold office supplies. It wasn't her dream job, but she
