So you’re right. Claudette is not the villian. I mixed up the term I needed but this story made it easier . As when the prey is another psychopath just like her . It makes it more clear.

Claudette feels like the antagonist in this series.
Or more so her mindset . Her outlook on things has prevented her from acknowledging the horrible things she’s done. Nor does it allow her to acknowledge the hypocrisy. Even in the face of the physical manifestation of it.

so while technically she is the protagonist. This mentality makes her feel like the antagonist

If she reads like the villain that's because I very rarely ever look at her as if she's the "hero." Miss Smalls is several kinds of... not right... A lot of the series has been her just trying to get by with that fact.

Hmm so I’ve binged the first season of this series today. It’s well written and definitely a good read . All the side characters are interesting and well developed even with their limited amount of show time. Making it easy to get invested in them.

That said , the title character is iffy. She goes from unrelenting sociopath to caring mother at the flip of a coin. she killed her son for doing something she herself ended up doing. She adopted Cindy , and shown that’s she’s not afraid to kill kids. Which in the context of vore is not usually viewed as an issue. However she then swears off kids , yet she still scares Cindy enough that Cindy knows she’ll digest her. As well as she kept her feeder colony which is literally a liter of children she can eat.
. So while this story is setup with her as the protagonist. It reads like she’s the villain .

I’m gonna binge the rest of this tomorrow as I’m heavily invested in the side characters though

I don't think you read too many important spoilers. It's a very character growth driven series... With lots of vore... If you go back now and start from the beginning you may find Clawdette to be kind of a different person than she is here, but the meat of the story is in how she got from point A to point B, which you really haven't seen. So I think even if you did start here, going back and reading how we got to this point should still be pretty interesting. Or at least I hope...

Glad you are able to enjoy the series even if the sexual content isn't really your thing. Hearing that makes me happy because I do actually want Yiffpunk to be something people can enjoy as a story that just happens to have a lot of kinky stuff in it, as apposed to something people only enjoy for kinky stuff.

And oh gosh, I sure HOPE I don't have to resort to selling body parts. I kind of need those... I'm such a medical nightmare I can't even donate blood... Like, literally... they won't take it...

I don't know if back is the right word. I had a half finished story I had been working on right before my medical issues hit, so I decided to spend a day finishing it. I still had to take frequent breaks while I was writing it to let my hands rest just because of the pain they were in. But I am trying at least.

We'll consider me officially back when I can type up a full story without having to take a break every 20 minutes.

Nice premise, but I'm not sure how that would work from an economic standpoint. If the prey maxed out their lines of credit to be eaten, then how does the bank end up getting their money? From the estates of the prey (probably the best option)? Do they go after the preds (ethical issues)? Do they just write off the debt (economically self-destructive)?

I'm thinking to hard about this. XD

Edit: To clarify, my bad impression was about how others reacted to her and not Anny herself. To me a character is both the person and how others react to them. I know I'm being confusing. I'm not used to other people wanting to talk about storytelling either, so I'm not the best at explaining.

Yeah, I'm not going to stop reading just because I'm not that keen on one chapter.

And I understand that her conduct would have probably been different in other threads, which is why I said that she came off poorly in this story rather than she is a bad character.

A story is just a snapshot of an author's imagination, but it's all we have to go on when we try to imagine the world the writer is trying to present to us. With such limited information, we have to make assumptions in order to form a clear picture in our heads of the world, the characters, and their relationships with each other.

So, for me to imagine Anny and how she fits into the world, I have to assume that the snapshot that I see is representative of who she is and how others generally react to her. My impression of her would probably change when there is more information; snapshots that show her in different lights and from different angles. Basically just saying that this story as an introduction to the character was, for me, a bad first impression.

It makes sense in the context of the story, so I don't mind. I really love her callous predatory attitude. Like in the last instalment:

"The girl was putting up quite a fight in there as she struggled to try and find a way back out. She wasn’t going to be finding that until sometime tomorrow though. She had a twisting turning trip to make through my guts first."

"Or it was a raccoon for the moment anyways… I didn’t waste any time sending her down to join her woodchuck friend in my stomach, so… she wouldn’t be a raccoon for too much longer."

I really loved those bits. Even though Clawdette's intention were thwarted, her attitude was really hot.

You can rest easy. I know not everyone will be happy to hear this, but I am highly reluctant to write fatal vore involving characters that young. Even non-fatal vore is kind of iffy for me when they are that young. Older teenagers I can handle, but kids... If I'm going to do it, it needs to be important to the plot, and even then it's likely not going to be fatal and I'm going to handle it with care. It's just one of those lines I have to be very careful about crossing (or not crossing) as a professional who makes part of my living writing this stuff.

In fact, if I ever do write fatal vore involving very young characters, I'll put a content warning at the front of the story. But if it even does happen, it's not likely to happen a lot.

Rainbow sharks ARE pretty vibrant when you really look at them. Very beautiful little fish. Also total assholes most of the time... I've got one who keeps an entire aquarium just for herself and a single zebra danio. (And it is NOT a small tank.) Anything else I try to put in there seems to "mysteriously" disappear. So she's got all that space and will only share it with that one fish she likes. I'm pretty sure she's just eating everything else. Even other zebra danios. I'd love to keep a school in there but she only seems to tolerate that one particular danio. All the others just vanish.

And if you really need more than 140 characters you just string a number of tweets together. Not that hard at all. And yeah... all the artists are there. Well I can pretty much assure you that getting gutted or lobotomized are not my fetishes. If someone likes that, that's fine for them. But it doesn't really do anything for me personally so I doubt I'm going to be writing about it. I wouldn't know how to make it erotic and trying to make something erotic when you don't personally understand the eroticism behind it is kind of a doomed endeavor. I'll stick to writing the things I actually understand and have feeling about and leave the things I don't to someone who does.

especially if she really does plan on having another son as well as her adoptive daughter. However, having typed that I came up with a tragic scenario. She finds a mate gets pregnant but he eats her daughter thinking she is just a snack and she is heartbroken and chucks him out leaving her a single mother again. I would still prefer the rabbit live though as I like happy endings

I understand that you were just going for something silly and that talking is normally a free action I was venting frustration I have not even as a DM but as a player when I've had my action planned but have to wait for other players that have spent minutes talking to the DM and another player's trying to decide on the most optimal move or arguing rules and I just need them to take there go so I can get to mine.

very metta, they forgot two things: don't waist your action speaking unless you feel like you could succeed in persuasion or intimidation and the rule of cool is always in effect so the DM can do what they want. If the DM said "Role Initiative" after the first bite but the players kept arguing about turns I could see the DM counting that as their turn and giving the dragon another turn.

Thanks. I wrote it because it thought it was more interesting than just doing a standard author blurb with basic info on myself. But looking back on it now, I'm still kind of embarrassed by it.

Well I'm in a lesbian relationship myself, so I kind of enjoy writing about lesbians and lesbian sex, but I can still write about (and have written about on numerous occasions) heterosexual sex. So I'm sure it will happen again.

This story was a crossover with one of the characters from The Dank Wildcats. So I was writing it in a similar fashion. It wasn't really intended to be about the vore itself. There is still vore, but the focus was on the implications of vore in a civilized society populated entirely by anthropomorphic animals. Seeing as my Miss Smalls stories are set in the same universe as my Dank Wildcats books, I figured the topic should be addressed at some point. The rest of the stories I'll write for this character will probably go back to putting more focus on the act itself, but from a narrative standpoint this was just something I needed to do at least once.

As for the sex, I honestly didn't see how it would contribute anything to this story in particular. I have no problem writing sex scenes when it does contribute to the story, but for this one at least, I thought it would have just felt like a tacked on extra scene that didn't add anything to the narrative.

Sorry if this one wasn't your favorite, but I assure you there will be more vore and sex in future installments.

It just seams that in this story and the last you "fade to back" whenever vore or sex is about to happen

Answer #1) Well have you ever seen a group of predators eat a single kill? Like a group of lions or hyenas chowing down on a single zebra? They don't worry about "cutting it in half". They just sort of all dig in until there's nothing left. I'd hate to see the mess they left for whatever poor employee walks into the office next...

Answer #2) Why? Do you want lesbian sex?

No, I'm sure I'll do more. These don't take long to write. But I really need to focus on my published stuff. I've got three projects that need to be finished up so my editor has something to work on when she finishes with the book she's got right now. And there's the whole process of getting the books that are already in publication formatted for the move to Smashwords... So don't expect the trend of one story a night to be the norm. But I'm sure I'll write more. I like this character.

Intriguing story , miss smalls is pretty much a massive racist though. So it makes sense shes be willing to kill her own grandkid and her own son just because she doesn’t want a bunny in her family.
