It's the big one! Welcome to the voting image for the Final match of Assassins' Feed! The collaborative project between Dudey64 ,
Cainiam and
Voltwrecker !
With another two assassins gone, we're down to the final two, with six left as nothing more than a big mess! Veteran Pirate Skyheart ended up being laid low by newbie rookie Rainbow Dash in a surprising upset! Not to mention the noble Cane Crecca besting yet another assassin sent his way, Dusk Rider putting up a strong fight but ending up as nothing more than flank padding. We're down to only two remaining, so the matchup for this should be obvious! What isn't is who is going to come out on top...
This round is going to work a little differently. Since we're down to the last two, and we've all seen them take down two of their foes, it's time we said goodbye to Lady Luck. That's right, this round will be down to a popular vote! Everyone can only vote once, so just comment down below on who you want to win. Whether it be the Element of Loyalty Rainbow Dash, or Cane: The Count of Crecca!

I've read only one of these stories because I am honestly not a fan of the Skyheart series/universe? nor obscenely huge asses and bellies... That being said, if I were to chose, I'd vote for Dash. I am sure the author has planned an extra-special fate for the winner, so I am confident Dash will get her `fun` as well, just as soon as she wins yet another tournament in her life.

He's nowhere near as bad as blueblood and probably won't use Rarity as a pony shield. Though his particular taste in meals and manner around his lessers can make him seem a lot the same. He's more of a friendly, helpful, devoted and less self centered Blueblood.

Because M/F is much more fun and there's not a lot of it aroudn and i want more. 2 dash is a super overrated character and her winning is just too predicable and boring. i mean its really like superman beating a group of b villains or something it just has that "oh who could have seen that coming" feel to it.

Well this decision seems to have backfired. Since it was the finale, I thought it would be cool to have people vote for their favorite just this once... and after this I think if we ever do more of these it'll go back to the coin flip.
I'm really not sure what to do about the votes from new accounts. On the one hand the optimist in me says that people who like my stuff or like Cane, or just Male preds and didn't have an account before so couldn't comment registered up to take part in this.
The pessimist says this is people screwing the result to be what they desire. Since there's no damn way to prove either way... So for now I'm just going to say we let things stand as they are. Call me biased if you want, but I think you can see that over the course of the rounds we've done already we've been fair every time. Standard voting time has been 2 days for a while, so we're keeping that in place.

Even though I'm sure it's going to end with people making fake accounts for one or another, I guess I'll participate despite my misgivings about such things in these parts.
I'd rather see Cane win, since F/M is literally a universal constant here and a shakeup is nice now and again.

Seems like its going to be another Cane story. Over powered magic, something with balls, etc. It was definitely setup for the under dog "dash" to make the story come full circle, but looks like a lot of viewers just have a high for m/f .
Have fun with the story, I dont really need to read the last few. The action for the other characters was well done and I enjoyed it. To be honest I expected Cane to fall out but ya know, super magic. I definitely suggest to not fall under the same pattern with the past two Cane stories.
Sorry for the odd critique, knowing the outcome is pretty much the side affect of vote stories. My two personal picks made it, but I lost interest with Cane fast due to the aforementioned.
(Oh, a huge suggestion after reading comments, just make it a requirement for votes to come from accounts a year old, or has an actual counter of forum participation. I do have a feeling Cane won out by forced votes)

We tried this after some convincing, but we were far from well prepared for the way things went. It seems that the two contestants remaining certainly had quite the following that sparked up some tension to our dismay. From now on we'll be going back to the old model as this.. wasn't really very good feeling, actually felt a bit worse for a while seeing people get angry, none the matter though. The latest comment that was removed shows just how quickly actually deciding the winner can get if it's not an actual CYOA and more of a competition.Thanks a lot for the critique!
The stories were decided not by the characters themselves, but by other means. The only thing votes counted for before where who received the contracts.
I'm incredibly happy to hear you enjoyed the stories, though sorry things became very magic leaning. World building sometimes goes in strange and, or fun directions ^^;
(We'll certainly take that into account! (No pun intended) may be a little more recent, but your suggestion is one that'll certainly prevent some.. possible influences from the same user multiple times.
It's sad that things turned out this way, but luckily it just takes one try to learn from a mistake.. usually.)

Voting is extremely rough. I've seen it backfire every time almost. I myself did a store where the first half was eliminating people that just weren't participating. Then I got to my last ten, started voting, and this one fellow was all onboard with it. Then he found out he got no votes and went off. I think I still have 20-30 pages worth of his hateful comments over on my FA...

It kind of did. XP. Even more so when the admins wouldn't punish him because other people who believed he was in the wrong went off on him. He came back later when I tried to do an interactive with a friend and rigged the vote against that friend. So I yanked him out of the story and wrote it so that both outcomes got his replacement eaten. XD
Honestly as sad as it is to say it, I would not be surprised if the loser died and the winner... died to a different predator as his reward. But whatever you guys do, I'm sure it will be a good read!
