And here I thought that Mama Clio and Mithra would go to the restaurant, and meet Kira and company. It would make a great group reaction to meet the infamous Necromancer that is heard among the Nagas, and see how Neela and Julianna are, in detail, handling the reunion. It would be great if one of them fainted or something.

Though having Clio shocked about Kira speaking to the seaserpent, I feel that her and Nana are going to have a huge talk about it with Kira...or have the story explained in the Legends series.

Though going to the club, I wonder if we get a clear answer about the fate of Leyla...and the reaction of our bucentaur bouncer and coworkers with Kira's Virgin run of the club from the previous night?

Also, it IS indeed pretty gruesome to see Mithra's meals digest like that. I never considered how her translucent skin might cause others to see inside. That might prevent her from doing predation in public, but she also might have a way around it.

Well I was expecting a backstory from Neela. But I didn't expect this back story.

Talk about abandonment issues, dealing with Reign and stress eating. This does explain a bit about Val, though it does bring more questions like why Reign dragged this abusive bullying, and how Val never got involved despite being around Neela. She must have known something about it.

Any case, we'll have to wait for the next chapter to get some answers...and seeing who's on the table.

The fight at the Serpent's Tail was a refreshing time where she was actually fighting against getting eaten instead of just getting off to it. I really liked reading that part, I thought maybe she actually was trying to survive but then the stuff with Alexis just made her seem suicidal again.
I did like getting to see Clio but feel like so much more should have been done with it and nothing really changed from it besides restocking her reformation potions, which she then doesn't even use any on herself before she goes diving into yet another gut due to her gut slut tendencies. Which to reiterate, I don't actually mind that she's a gut slut, I just mind how far into the gut slut mindset she's falling, because it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.


If not for that fight I would say Kira seems to have lost all sense of danger from getting digested.

Whew, I think that's everything. I really really like this story but am starting to have a few gripes with it which I think I outlined fairly well. I'm considering paying for a few chapters but really hope to see Kira start paying a bit more mind to her personal safety.

The last ten chapters don't feel like anything has really been happening to advance the story, nothing fresh. I would say more than ten chapters but the fight at the Serpent's Tail was a refreshing time where she was actually fighting against getting eaten instead of just getting off to it.

I really have to wonder how society, that is the money part, would function if people (humans and now non-humans) had a frightening tendency to "disappear"? I'd imagine /all/ loan interest rates are astronomical and most companies would want the money up front so if you do get eaten, they're already paid. Collection agencies (property seizure, liquidation, ect) would also be a huge part of the economy trying to recover what they can... and also helping, for a cut, dispose of property that no longer belongs to the living.

Made an update to this chapter just now. In hindsight, the way Sharlene described the UK as a being racist toward nagas isn't only rude to the UK, but I had one British resident tell me it just doesn't feel that accurate to what their country is like today.

As they described it, "So long as you act British, no one really cares where you're from," and they made some historic references as to how the UK has been way more progressive on such issues due to their nature as a former world-spanning empire. I thus changed it to be more flattering toward the UK without changing my original intent of explaining how the USA reacts to having nagas.

Kira really... _really_ needs to keep Mithra nearby when around these alpha-type nagas as her bodyguard or just start taking a Reformative before leaving the house every day. Sheesh, she's getting swallowed weekly (I wouldn't mind daily, heh) and it's only dumb luck that stops most of these preds from finishing the job.

Makes me wonder if some pseudo-human hybrid, or a kinky magic-user, won't take a whack at the pink noodle and try to stuff themselves to near-bursting. We have lots and lots of naga and that one tauren, but what about other critters taking the portal over to Earth? Has there been any lore on the subject in the story?

As for Kira's complaint about being too fat. There's always taking one of those Restoratives and letting Mithra show her a guaranteed way to lose 100% of excess weight in a single night. Heh.


As an aside, it's probably just as well Denu was knocked out before being consumed, er, seeing as how she has quite the aversion to it. It was just a few days ago Kira was pred-teasing Denu and she reacted badly.

Returning to these stories after a long while. These new managerial duties fit Kira really well! I like getting to see her being a girlboss and looking after all the newbies at the Serpent Tail, although in terms of pacing it feels like this is something that should happen months after starting work there instead of a couple weeks?
I think if a role like this would persist for Kira, maybe some of the vetted staff of the Serpent Tail would be due for a ceremonious farewell/departure. That could be by way of Divya or by Denyu's ex-

I really like the idea of vore having a meaning and impact! I haven't gotten to the next chapters yet but if Leyla really IS gone, I feel like it would be a well earned end to her story. She got to have her mini-arc, meeting new people, overcoming her hesitation to be a predator and hooked up with Val, an infamous GF killer, out of a shared interest in bondage. Leyla teased her knowing well what could happen in the end. She completely of her own accord did a threesome with 2 other nagas and sent Val pictures to taunt her. I don't feel cheated out of a character in seeing her go here. She joins the list with Nora as main characters who I think have certainly earned their closure. Honestly, I really like getting to see these arcs play out, it gives these characters a chance to shine for longer than 1 continuous chapter! I'm eager to know who the next character will be that gets this treatment.

Also Riley and his BFs were SO CUTE!!! They just wanna snuggle and protec UwU. I've been waiting so long to see a wholesome cuddle pile in this story! One of my FAVORITE things about lamias is that they can get all bundled up in a cuddle pile of snake together! I hope we get to see them again when all this other stuff winds down.

Kinda surprised she's never been approached by the talent scouts since she is rather visually unique. It's also a hell of a lot safer than dancing for tips when one considers no dancer ever retires... alive.

I'd also expect the movie talent to be unusual in their own right too, otherwise who's going to pay to watch what they can view for "free" down at the bars in noodletown?

Likely to find tailmaws, deep sea naga even more elastic than Mithra, humans (or human-ish) able to vore, maybe even color-changing naga with traits like a chameleon? As far as magic goes, it might be cheaper to just use the real thing instead of expensive "realistic" CGI effects too (as opposed to cheap gawd-awful CGI and bad video edits).

So here's the spoiler.

One of the new creatures I've introduced in this chapter is a Jinn. The lore on them is that they are creatures who were created by powerful alteration magic when that magic goes horribly wrong. Clio is also skilled with alteration, but nothing like a Jinn is. The creatures are known to be shape shifters and they are exceedingly rare throughout Peran.

Jinns are very obviously inspired by Majins from the Dragonball series, but I don't intend for them to be world-destroying powerhouses. They're instead a twisted magic creature who were the unintended side effect of corrupt spells by other mages.

Umbra should already know about Maya, if I remember correctly umbra was the one who came to kiras rescue after Ravana digested maya, even asks where maya was only to get surprised with her coughing up her remains. Umbra got swallowed by fiona while trying to comfort kira after that had happened.
