Yeah I also prefer to use the term futa over hermaphrodite. There's like a maze of misconceptions about hermaphroditism and I'd rather not feed into it by comparing that to the average futanari (which I see as completely fictional).

Very hot story. I like the "date your friend's mom" scenario. Poor boyfriend. And the fact she had an emergency stash of food but someone else in the house stole it is painfully relatable. Almost as painful as digestion.

I wonder what percentage of the prey's total exp the pred gets, or if it is based on the prey's size or something. Digesting others might be a really good way to level up, but since most leveling systems require more exp to get to the next level, eating more, higher level or larger prey would probably be required to continue leveling up.

Works best with lots of varied prey, ranging from hapless helpless maids, the survivors of whom fear working at the supposedly-haunted mansion where their friends and coworkers keep disappearing, to a tough-as-nails adventuress called in to find out what’s happening. All discovering the dissolved-clean and crushed bones of their predecessors when they too reach the stomach.

I hadn't thought about it too much in that context, but yeah, it's easy to forget as you level up in a fantasy setting that the little things that become non-threats to you over time are still very much threats to a common person... there's plenty of low level things that you can practically forget about later on in your adventures that could still annihilate a whole village with ease...

The mimic idea has a ton of potential, honestly. Just imagine a group of adventurers coming to town and being begged to investigate, one of them going to rest for a bit and just being swallowed up by the mimic posing as her bed, the party having no idea where she went...

This is a very good story, both in terms of being hot and in showcasing how much living in a typical fantasy setting would suck for non-adventurers and how high the stakes are for adventurers. That a whoever village’s population died horribly because a party of heroes got overconfident.

Great framing device, pitting a bunch of hapless commoners who have no idea what they’re dealing with or chance at beating it against foes actual proper adventurers could survive.

Makes me wonder about some woman who’d temporarily left the village and survived swearing vengeance while still outmatched and being devoured. Or a murder mystery-type plot as a Mimic picks off unsuspecting peasant wenches, with the searchers ignoring the ordinary crate or barrel while the victims are still alive and trying to be heard. And so forth and so on.

Funny enough, the original idea for this story was with a werewolf... a werewolf and a princess, I think. But I guess that felt a little cliche when I started, I wanted to go with something bigger, that could eat the whole village. A dragon was an obvious idea, but again, cliche... and as much as the long necked scaley pred appealed, it seemed impossible to describe a hydra attack without just letting the reader know what the pred was, and I wanted to keep the reader as in the dark as Tilli... I think I basically had all of Tilli's part written before I finally decided what the pred actually [i]was[/i]

I would have guessed it was a werewolf at first, probably because of the feral term, but a one-headed hydra is a pretty nice surprise (nice for the readers, not for the villagers). I guess the lack of fires mentioned early on could've been a hint.

If only the adventurers had eaten the hydra, this wouldn't have happened. c:

Amanda could have survived if she had just kept her mouth shut, except for the fact that rules on eating people have been lifted. She could have been eaten anyways. Anyways, I liked the heat transference ideas. Maya gets cold easily but is warmed up by her prey. It gives her a reason to like predation outside of the instinctual feelings that eating people is good. I like when the racial features of non-humans are used.

I dunno if there's a lot for me to discuss there, but I'm glad you enjoyed the little details, 'cause dang there was a lot of them in this project!
The "people tripping over the tail" is the sort of thing that comes to mind a lot for me when I'm writing nagas/lamias, I like to think through as I go what kind of inconveniences a non-humanoid body would have in a world built for humanoids... like how in my mall story a while back, the side character that ate a humanoid got her prey's car keys / car and the main character that ate a taur just got a bus pass.

I enjoyed this story, and glad that you keep steadily writing new stories.
I like how Maya's cold blooded nature makes her struggle to keep warm in a cold climate. I also really like how the high student count is used as the justification for vore in the story. Since it isn't a human only world, the prey species could have evolved high birth rates to counter being eaten, but in a modern society, fewer of them might be eaten, and "purges" might be needed. I liked the little details how some prey had different reactions, and how the preds reacted when being paired up. Technically the teacher could have probably gotten away with not havign Amanda get eaten, but she also technically followed the rules. I like how Maya is gentle with her, and tries not to hurt her, even tho it doesn't matter. I also like how Maya finds Amanda to be warm, since Amanda has a higher body temperature than Maya. It was creative to have other students trip on Maya's tail after class. I wouldn't have thought about that, but it makes sense. I appreciate how you mentioned that nagas digest slower when cold, since this a real thing with snakes and other cold blooded creatures. Another thing I like was how Maya's mom was suspicious that she broke the school's rules, but then was proud of her, after she learned what happened.

She went on about how he wouldn't get the chance to eat his sister first anyways, because someone else would be more insisting on the plunge before he made it out un-filled. I also notice that there is a reappearance of the mention of blood flowing to a penis making it harder to blush. I hadn't heard of such a thing prior to reading these first time stories.

I am glad that you didn't skip my comment. I was wondering if something was distracting you, so I am going to blame the cold.

I originally wrote my suggestions of who Nick should eat in the next chapter before you wrote the descriptions of his sisters. Now that you have written their descriptions, I think Nick should eat Nadia or Claire first. Because his oldest sister has plans for her life, she isn't going to try to jump down his throat, especially since there are other girls for him to eat. His 2nd youngest sister, is also shy, so she will probably be more patient waiting for her turn. That leaves Nadia and Claire as the most eager to be eaten. Of course Charlotte may come over to his house to try to get him to eat her, or someone may have given out his phone number, or address to the eager prey in the school, but I think it is best that he has some private time with his family for the weekend. IMO Charlotte, and the other girls at school can wait for the next school week. Of course Nick could go to the store or something since, it is the weekend, and meet a girl to eat there, but I still think he should eat one of his sisters first. Nadia is probably the girl he would pick to eat next, but Claire is a spoiled child, so she might beg, and pout to be his next meal. I have one more thought about Claire being eaten. Mrs. Harper felt some pain during digestion, so it makes sense that others might too. Claire is the youngest in the family, and is spoiled, so she might be the least capable of Nick's sister at taking the pain of his digestion. Claire might beg, and plead to be eaten, but then discover that being digested hurts some. Of course this might go against your goal of having the characters be more willing to be eaten.

Sorry to not respond sooner, I've been a bit out of it lately and long responses felt like too much. I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

I'd try to explain the setting but I doubt even I know what's going on here... I just kinda set out to write some very willing prey and tried to keep it a cohesive setting. :p The "1 human a day" thing was more for story purposes, though by the setting it's mostly the case that this is a human-only area that preds can visit, so there's a rule to keep them from eating too many and causing problems. The fact that Nick [i]lives[/i] in the zone... I'm sure won't cause any problems ;)

The willingness of all the characters was a bit of an experiment, I wanted to play with sex and willingness more than usual with this one... with the sisters, they typically wouldn't be as forward as Nadia here, I'm sure their mom kept them in line before his birthday, but now that he's of age their behavior is likely going to change, though of course the depends on the sister.
On the disposal note... oops. Yeah, come to think of it, given how I put in that his family was getting a fair bit of money to raise him, and how long he'd been in the family... his mom totally would've just bought some pred-grade plumbing at some point. Maybe I'll fix that in the next chapter...

I do like the ideas for the future chapters; on that note, I did add brief descriptions of the sisters in the author's notes like I meant to do originally and totally forgot about ^^'

Definitely didn't feel too critical to me. Hopefully I get through the comm I'm working on decently fast and get to the next chapter of this... though I've got a lingering cold sapping my energy and my horny, so... we'll see how long it takes

I had a lot of fun with trying to foreshadow the connection between them, it's not often I have a connection between pred and prey like this so I wanted to get the full effect... definitely glad to hear it worked for you!

Hopefully we'll get to see a sequel to this with one of her other friends, Sophie was a fun pred to write, and I'd love to watch her get more predatory and confident! Sure, I really suck at writing sequels with the ridiculous number of new story ideas I've stocked up... but I hope I do it!

There are several hints in the story leading up to the reveal that she is going to eat her friend, which I'm sure are intentional since they get more clear as the story progresses, which helps tell the reader that her first time with a prey will be extra special because of it. It also implies that she may be more willing to reveal her true self to her friends now that she knows at least one of them was completely accepting of her hidden lower half's feature.

I mean, some reptiles store food in the form of fat on their tail... I was just messing around and blurring the line on how human vs snake-like Nora was, and the idea of a longer stomach where her prey could straighten out inside and be basically hidden from a person in front of her sounded interesting. Not that this story allowed her to use that...

My bad, with the booze I guess, I figured there was enough implication that they were either drunk or at least close enough to stop pretending they weren't planning on this all along... guess I could've made that more clear :/

Storing food in a tail sounds a little weird for a humanoid, but it is a real thing reptiles do, I think. The other thing that struck out to me is the disconnect between the girls at the start talking about eating people versus right after the transition. There's no direct statement that they are both drunk now or that they just decided not to restrain themselves, it just happened. One could infer they are drunk due to the mention of alcohol and empty cups, but it's not quite confirmation.

I hadn't really stopped to think (recently at least) about the number of my stories with sexual content that feature characters that are either bi or plain lesbians... though I guess a lot of my stories don't have any guys in them at all, which probably has a fair bit of influence on that. Also the fact that I'm not very good at writing m/f sex scenes, which is part of the reason that the story ended before said scene happened :/

Glad we're of similar minds on the tasers. ^^ I haven't seen them used in too many stories personally, but they seemed like a very reasonable possession for a small girl in a world of people that might like to swallow her... and, I mean, who's to say that taser didn't play a part in some of her previous meals :P

I mean, Taeki can attest that [i]waist[/i]size-gain mode is on, but not height gain... sadly for her.

After I went out of my way and called the deertaur a cervid I had to do something similar with Taeki, though I had to go back and look up what the family name for squirrels is. Glad it made for an enjoyable line ^^

As for the security guard, he was a fun moment on my end as well... I was just in the middle of writing the story (and reading a comic on the side) and had a sudden moment of, "Wait, when was the last time I wrote a character that was just... straight?" So voila, he became not only helpful but sexy, and allowed for a fun open ending :)

Setting-wise, nothing's really set in stone... I kind of like to think that the kingdom was just keeping their territory clear... they don't want a den/village of monsters in their borders, but they wouldn't be too worried about a few slipping away. Especially if Ashi left their borders... they might care about monsters in the country, but it's no concern of theirs if people want to risk their lives / end their lives in a belly outside the country's borders... of course, now that Ashi has a taste for humans she might end up becoming a bit of a nuisance...

I liked the idea of having an actual excuse for bikini armor... :P Also kind of liked the idea that they might be part of a larger group that sends out parties like this occasionally, so the bikini armor makes their intent nice and clear to the "locals" they encounter, so they could have assumed that Ashi knew who they were and that was why she wasn't bothering to hide very well as she followed them.

Glad the archer part worked for you; she was definitely meant to give the feeling that something odd might be going on. As for Ashi enjoying Ashi enjoying herself... yeah, not much to say there is there. Squirmy meals feel nice~

I did definitely have them muffled by the belly... though on the other hand, Ashi was nearly of-age to hunt humans, so it'd be entirely rational that one of the first things you'd learn would be to ignore anything your food says... not that I at-all implied that in the story, but it could be a thing.

The lack of mourning was 100% a big hint; given the group, a passing congratulations as they realized one of their group had gotten what they wanted would be more likely.

The warrior let herself get eaten once and probably would have done it again, but as far as Ashi knew the only reason she ate her so easily was because she was tired out from fighting, and that if she spit out her prey it'd take her a bit to recover and re-consume her prey, time her meal might use to recover and escape or alert the rest of the humans... not worth the risk. Plus, thought I had that I didn't really write... a tasty, sweaty prey probably wouldn't taste so good when they were covered in stomach acid rather than salty sweat.

The last two took the longest to pick their fates... maybe the one before them was still around and got caught by something in the night, maybe they were lovers, or sisters, or maybe they got eaten together instead of one by one... glad you liked the end result of that particular indecision ^^

We'll see if my next story or next RP log comes out first... I just finished a long-term RP, but I've got a few projects I'm working on too... only time will tell.

No poison-detecting ring, just a goblin nose, overwhelming power, and a handful of nearby antidotes.

Willing worked best for the story; magical or natural, it certainly made the unique gift much more enjoyable for the gobblin queen... though if one had decided to resist after she'd already gotten her first taste, the guards were still nearby, and I imagine that their "punishment" would have ended with them in the same position anyways :P

Bleh, same, that's one of the big problems with mass vore for me, having all the prey blend together. A small, varied group that all melts together... that's more enjoyable.

Potions fixing what potions caused was a fun little plot point... as for her getting bigger, well, she was going to get bigger one way or another with that much meat. Her evolving was definitely more interesting to me than her just turning into a chunky goblin.

Yeah, the story was more from her POV than an omnipotent one, so the digestion was more things that she would've noted along the way than a description of everything that happened... if I do a sequel it'll probably have more detail there, since I think a sequel would involve a bit more prey POV.

This was different. I liked how the new king gave something to Vivi, that she couldn't have gotten elsewhere. Having the princess be willing was the best option. The magic of the potion made it possible for the goblin queen to swallow all of the girls. I really like how Vivi had a poison detecting ring too. It helps with her drinking potions without having to take as many precautions. My mind wonders what would have happened if some of the princess's entourage had refused to be Vivi's meal, but that wasn't the way the story went. I like that each of the women had some distinctive features to them, because one of the problems of mass vore, is when the prey all become indistinct meals. Of course someone might see that as a reason why they like mass vore, but IDK.

I really like how you had Vivi unable to digest her beautiful meals even tho she could fit them in her stomach. I like how you used a potion to fix the problem, which another potion caused. I also like how the queen grew after she absorbed the nutrients from her meals.
One complaint that I do have, is that I would have preferred a few more details about what the princess and her subordinates were doing inside the stomach before and after they started digesting, but I assume that the story was supposed be short, and focus more on what the goblin queen was doing rather than her food.

I honestly hadn't really even considered a twist ending. I can definitely see how you might expect one though... when people start offering opposing monarchs strange vials you expect something to be going on. But nah, her confidence was a combination of determination and unspecified wizard stuff that made her okay with things going down the way they did.

A similar story you'd recommend, or just a similar story?

Something something, human ingenuity and the will to go to any lengths to break free of their chains. I sorta expected the princess' brother to waltz in and storm the castle while Vivi was still too bloated and lacked lucidity. I know that it's a vore story and one can expect "and then the prey just digests" as the ending, but something about the narration just set off my "a twist is about to happen" senses. Maybe it was the sureness with which the princess commanded her entourage to be eaten, like she had a master plan?

Though I guess her master plan was just "Try and appease your shortstack overlords even if means being food." Can hardly blame her for that, it seemed like a no-win scenario and even if they decapitated the leadership they would've faced a terrible reprisal. For what it's worth, I wouldn't have rooted for a full reversal either way (the princess's folks triumphing and being the ones who treat Vivi's subjects as food and slaves).

Maybe my incorrect hunch came from the fact I've seen a story with a not too dissimilar premise - a princess offering herself to a haughty predator who had ambitions of power. It did contain a twist, and it was extra surprising because that author did go for "baddie wins" endings most of the time.

It's not entirely my character, so I guess I should say to take what I say with a grain of salt before I start, as my answers are mostly my thoughts during writing.

Shai's got a reputation for several things, but she's also stupidly hot, and wanders around a very large, populated campus. There's always somebody dumb, confident, or ignorant enough to try their luck with her.

As for why she didn't eat Carter, I refer you to this line in the second paragraph; "He was shorter than her by half a foot at least, which immediately knocked him off Shai’s list of anyone worth fucking, eating, or really even looking at". Do I know she discriminates on height? Not for sure, but I pictured a bratty bitch and that came to mind pretty fast.

The secluded bathroom was part of the idea given to me, so I can't claim that, but I was responsible for all the specific events inside so I'm glad you liked them, as well as the redhead cause she was entirely my addition to things ^^
Him being stronger but also fearing her retaliation made sense to me; he might be strong enough to restrain her, but she's likely more experienced at actual fighting, so if she got free or they faced each other head-on Carter would likely end up getting the shit beat out of him before he got eaten and had shit made out of him
The eating rate was just because it fit the pace of the story, honestly. No further thought there. The threats, well, if I'm gonna write my first ever prey-tsundere, I'm doing it properly, you know? Nothing getting her honest desires out until she's on the verge of death~
You know, I really could have leaned more into the idea of her getting tangled in all that hair as she struggled... oh well
Preds rubbing themselves off on their prey-filled guts is some peak vore, honestly, but it's also not usually my style... this story was a real adventure to write though, so it felt right at home ;)

The rumors were, sadly, not my idea, but as mentioned the redhead was, so I'm glad her roles (implicit and implied) were appreciated!

Sometimes role reversal is really fun in vore. There are many ways role reversal could work. There could be a bigger fish, a pred could use surprise, or teamwork is another option.

I guess Shai used her body to lure prey, or eat some guys that asked her out. I assume that if she ate enough people, that word would get out, and the only people that would ask her out would be the people who don't know her reputation, the risk seekers, the eager prey, or someone strong enough not to fear her.

When Carter asked if he could eat her, I guess that she was too busy to try to eat him for daring to ask her. Maybe he didn't look tasty.

I like how when Carter approaches the bathroom, he meets a redheaded girl, since she comes back in the story at the end. I also like how Carter chose a bathroom, since he could ambush her. The part where Shai yells “Hey, who the fuck’s there?! Fuck off!” when she hears Carter's footsteps helps with character building, by showing what she is like. Carter uses her arrogance, and hostility to his advantage, and that helps with the vibe of the story. Carter is stronger than he looks since he can grab and restrain her wrists. This feels like a bit of a contradiction with the earlier line: " Fuck, she tasted good… too bad he had to eat her fast or she’d rip him apart.", but I think I am just being picky. I think that the speed at which Carter eats Shai shows that he is actually a dominant pred that is hiding his abilities. The way Shai threatens him all the way into his stomach is almost funny. The part where Carter grabs the buns in Shai's hair and undoes them is slightly kinky. There is something sexy about a girl's long hair hanging out of a guy's mouth as he swallows her.
The way Shai's demeanor changes, and she gets aroused by being inside his stomach feels interesting, but I can't really describe why. I like how Carter uses her large ass to rub his cock against to masturbate.
I like how people are wondering where Shai went. Some are probably happy that they have peace and quiet without her around.

The detail that I like the most in this story, is how the timid redhead asks if he could tell her what happened or give her a demonstration.

Ha... yeah, I have no clue at all (except that wedding) why this one took me so long... but it's done now and that's what matters!

Glad you liked the sunscreen note, if I keep doing stuff with Sophie (and I do have a few more ideas) I plan to have her get a little more tanned each one... not that the reader can see her for that to matter but I like the thought. On the weight gain note... I can't stand vore where the prey just gets digested out of existence, that's half the reason I started putting disposal into my stuff. Give me weight gain, or disposal, or something, just don't have the prey vanish into nothing. And Susan deliberately left all her money and things for the pred that ate her, so it only makes sense for Sophie to of course enjoy them to the fullest~

The wristbands thing... yeah, the idea was that not wearing it would get you kicked out, but I honestly have no idea how the resort would find the preds without them... they'd basically have to just catch you with a full belly and a bare wrist, or have some big-brother level face-tracking going on... either way, Sophie follows the rules.

The line on letting prey out was kind of establishing what kind of casual-level the world had... basically, since digestion can often be more painful than prey expect, thrashing stomachs are common, making it hard to identify willing prey from unwilling. Seeing a thrashing belly makes people uncomfortable, sure, and might get a pred admonished by authorities for the disturbance, but they aren't going to make a pred spit out a prey unless that prey was someone important, or was screamingly-unwilling as they were eaten.

I feel like there's a whole possible rabbit-hole to go down with vore scammers and criminals... but that also doesn't seem like my kind of thing to explore, so I'm gonna leave that to other writers I think...

Realistically if a company was going to spend as much money as I implied they'd probably get a famous pred or prey in a studio somewhere and got that way... but who knows, maybe that costs more. I like the idea of Sophie unwittingly being turned into a massive social media ad for their product. On the note of selling and using the drug... I imagine it's less of a nightmare in a world where people commonly ingest and digest each other, but who knows. I don't! I'm mostly here for the noms~

I guess I honestly could've leaned into that pair a little more, given that Sophie's probably used to more willing prey, so eating someone like Eleasha could've had a lot more of a predator rush involved... oh well, this way came out good. On the pelvis note; I wanted [i]something[/i] to break on the way down, but most of the other (more logical) wide points of the body would be potentially fatal, and I kinda wanted Tamecia to live until the belly mulched her. So... pelvis. And yeah, it'd be a scary drug... the kind of thing you'd only take if a belly was going to mulch you soon anyway, hypothetically.

I was wondering how the work on this story was progressing. Posting it shows that it is completed.
Unsurprisingly, Sophie is enjoying her time at the resort. It makes sense for Sophie to use the best sunscreen, because her pale Irish complexion would probably make her vulnerable to sunburn. I also like how Sophie gained weight from eating Susanne. A whole human is a lot of calories. Those calories have to go somewhere. While Sophie wouldn't inherit Susanne's money, it makes sense that Sophie could loot all the cash that Susanne brought with her to the resort. Maybe she could use her card for awhile before it got frozen.
IddlerItaler has a good point. Preds could take off their wristbands to trick prey, and it would be hard for the resort to have a system for dealing with that. Maybe security could kick people out of the resort if they aren't wearing their wristband, but that would punish forgetful people. Maybe the rules could be harsh against preds for not wearing their wristband, but IDK.
I disagree somewhat with this line here: "As… stimulating as a thrashing prey was, it was always best not to show a scene like that in public; not that anyone could make a pred throw its prey up, (baring some VIPs of the world) it’d just be super awkward for everyone involved. " I think that if a resort had enough security, and enough less lethal restraint options, they could force a pred to spit up their prey, but that would take a lot of effort. It would also depend on the laws. In a sensible world, the authorities would do what it takes to save someone and punish a pred, that ate someone unwillingly. However casual fatal vore worlds are fun, and in some the preds are protected by laws. I guess this is just a casual vore world, where regular people are not worth rescuing from a pred, but a VIP would be.
I like Sophie's apprehension when the twin approach her, and ask her to eat them. There is the motto: "If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is." Who knows what tricks preds, and/or scammers think up to try to trick or eat someone.
I like how the company uses vore in the sponsership of their product. IRL many companies spend lots of money on advertising, so in a modern vore setting, it makes sense for it to happen. They want the public to know about their product, and are willing to spend money to do so. The side effects of the product are severe, so taking it is like making a decision that can't be undone. "No turning back." so to speak. I assume that there is some government regulation of the product, so people have to be adults to buy it, and it should come with warnings and disclaimers.
Some other things are like in the story are how Sofie thought Eleasha was ticking many boxes for being a good prey. I also like how Sofie wants to play with her food before eating it. I liked the detail about how Sofie easily carried Eleasha to the bed, since predators carry people in their stomachs. When Sophie was finally swallowing her, I like how Sophie pushed Eleasha's head down between her arms. Little details like that where the body position makes sense really help. It makes sense for her to be swallowed head first too, since Eleasha isn't going to enjoy the pain. After Eleasha is digested, it makes sense that a horny girl like Tamecia would want to have sex with Sophie, since this is casual vore setting. I think pelvic fractures are rare, and it shows how much Tamecia's body was weakened by the drugs she took. That reinforces how scary it could be to take those drugs and not get eaten.

I hope this was quality feedback. I am looking forward to what story you get around to finishing, and posting next.

Random thought, not really relevant to this, but every time I think about morality in vore worlds, the phrase "morality of property" pops into my head and doesn't leave. Back to more related thoughts, morality in a vore setting feels like it would be very different. Different how; I don't know, I certainly don't live there. I do know that in my medieval settings, I haven't had a problem writing slavery and the like in; because if vore is a thing, then people are food, and food is a good, and if a good is in demand then someone will start selling it. Who knows how a world's morals might develop if thoughts like that were part of society from the start...

Yeah, people mocking prey for not watching out constantly is fun in a silly setting, but definitely doesn't work in a more serious setting. People just aren't built to be wary all the time... at some point you have to just relax and trust that if someone wants to eat you they'll at least ask first. Having racial preds does mean it's easier to know when to relax, but I do enjoy settings where anyone could potentially eat anyone and that's just how things are as well.

Ohhhhh, relatable from a reader's perspective was what you meant! Glad you thought so! I was aiming for Adari to feel like a "normal," relatable high-school girl, so I guess I got that right. ^^

Light-hearted stuff only gets better when you have some darker things to contrast~

Lamias eating each other might give them a chaotic feel, but it still beats being organized apex predators who only ever eat humans or something, at least in my book.

Adari was fine being a patron for a farm which treated cowgirls like goods, and when she found out that her friend was working there, her response was to buy her so no one gets her. Of course, vore logic applies, but if Adari was to act morally she would have been way more horrified at how Sarah had been turned from a person to commodity by a hidden clause, and possibly re-examinated the ethics of her continued patronage to the farms. Unless cow-girls really are happy species-wide with the way they're treated, like Harry Potter elves, but those are so removed from our ethics that there's very little morality left to examine in that scenario.

Yeah I get that. Gotta have basic social trust that the bus driver won't drive you off a cliff and the bartender won't poison your coffee. That kind of stuff. If anything, I kinda hate it when vore writing admonishes the prey for not being paranoid all the time like "Hahaha, you should have known better than to sit next to that big-breasted woman, that's on you for getting eaten". When the preds are clearly identifiable by their race, and say, humans are never preds, elves sometimes are and nagas always are, then the suspension of disbelief becomes harder at least for me.

I wouldn't blame people for being wary of Adari. She's a nice person, but she's a pred, and while some preds only claim willing preys or those who attack them first, Adari doesn't seem quite on that level. But I meant moreso that her position, being able to enjoy the fruits of cowgirl farming without much opposition but then facing some discrimination herself for being a naga, is a position which the vast majority of readers can feel some relation to, as most people have been on both sides of the metaphorical fence.

...Heh, most of my ideas are on the brighter end (relatively for vore stories) but sometimes I like darkness to contrast.

I mean, lamias *are* frequently prey... but quite often they're falling prey to fellow lamias, which would reinforce their image as an overly-predatory race in my mind. but prejudice-wise, I can't really call it a showcase example; she complained about lamias eating anyone that got close, presumably meaning public situations and likely-unwilling prey, which would increase their infamy; then she went out and acquired her prey as legally and quietly as she really could (short of eating a willing friend/person, but she didn't have any) and took her prey to her home to eat in privacy, as kindly as she could. It feels, I don't know... sorta like telling someone off for eating way too much fast food, then going home and making yourself a burger; sure, you're both eating burgers, but there's a pretty notable difference in amount and method.

My brain is a little too fried at the moment to try and think through how people are living side by side with preds... (on that note sorry if any of this is incomprehensible) though that's kind of a thing in all vore settings, knowing that people might eat you. Like knowing a car might hit you, but that still doesn't stop you walking near the street... uh, anyway, back to trying to be coherent.
Adari might be in a relatable situation, but how many people would risk being slowly digested to find out whether or not she's a nice person? ...That said, I do hope to get her some new friend(s) whenever I do part two

I know that most people don't differentiate the two, and I don't honestly mind that, that's why several of my naga works are tagged with both, so more people that like sneks will find them. Over time they just kind of settled into being different races to me though, so I started trying to distinguish them in my writing.

...The fact I tried to make a character over-the-top and excessive and she looks like a saint next to yours is somehow a little worrying...

The "evil pred race" trope is something I'm admittedly not huge on. For all their association with the monster girl genre, lamias do a decent job at subverting that as they are frequently in a prey role, including in 4KKC's drawings. I liked how as soon as Adari mulled over lamias giving nagas a bad reputation, she followed by making plans to act predatory herself, showcasing the silliness of prejudice.

And yea, there definitively has to be some suspension of disbelief, less so on how certain races manage to survive imo, and more on how they're willing to put up with other races being openly known as their predators. But I enjoyed the tale of these two high schoolers who were caught in the middle of this uncanny society, where one girl was both a student and unwittingly livestock. By contrast, I do think Adari's position, as someone who is somewhat distrusted but not at the bottom rung of the system, was fairly credible and even... relatable?

In my mind I use lamias and nagas interchangeably (which can also lead to awkward moments where I call someone's naga OC a lamia). The lamia term is slightly more associated with the monster girl genre (Monster Musume, Monster Girl Quest), so I get the idea of making them more monster-like if you have both as different races, otherwise whether a snek character is a lamia or naga is usually up to the whims of the owner. Personally I just use lamia.

My Tana is pretty far away from a milf in terms of aesthetic and personality, despite being one of the oldest characters in her setting. She is certainly over the top in certain ways, and makes your Tana look a like saint. She is not a naga nor lamia, but has history with them.

There was definitely meant to be a feeling of romance, between their close friendship and long-hidden desires/expectations for each other, even if those desires weren't necessarily romantic, they certainly spent a lot of times thinking of each-other's bodies... :)

Tana wasn't exactly meant to be a "standard" naga pred... she's just kind of meant to embody someone that's just "too much." Drinking too much, eating too much, and she's way too much when dealing with her daughter's friends... (or prey) I felt like everything about her made a nice example of the person Adari would be trying not to be. That said, lamia in this setting (or in my thoughts in general) are kind of inspired by artists like 4KKC, where they tend to eat whole groups of people at a time... so people are right to be nervous, it just sucks for poor Adari. How are people surviving with preds like that around? Who knows, but I'm guessing there's not a lot of single-child households like Sarah's when there's lamias nearby.

I figure that people not knowing the difference between the two races was good meta humor, yeah, but also it made sense. If there's dangerous snake(girl)s around, it's easier to teach kids to stay away from all of them than to teach them to tell the dangerous ones from the harmful ones, and I guess their town is bad at teaching people the difference later...though, given Adari's family seems to be the only nagas around, that might make sense.

Thinking back... it having been quite a while since I wrote this, the sexuality of her stripping might have been part of it, yeah. The story is more platonic than romantic/sexual, and having her naked would certainly have changed that.

If Abby was stripping in front of Gabe, and he is waiting for her to get all her clothes off, he would be mad if another pred grabbed her and started swallowing her. Since Gabe is so hungry, he would get mad at the other pred for stealing his food, and eating Abby without her permission right in front of him, when she promised to be his meal. That would be a setup for a fight. Maybe Gabe could eat the other pred, or maybe it would be a 2 on 1 fight where Abby helps him. I don't think another pred would try to eat Abby if Gabe is standing right there watching her take her clothes off, unless that pred has a power advantage like being a teacher, or a school bully with his friends helping him.

While I think that having Abby strip before Gabe eats her would be easier on his stomach, it would probably make Gabe horny from watching her strip, and seeing her naked, or just in her underwear.

I debated changing the story when I was transcribing it to have Abby strip down, but honestly I was worried that if she did some other opportunistic pred might snap her up before Gabe could... though that could've been it's own sort of interesting story. Dress code seemed less of a concern for a student that would shortly not be a student anymore... honestly, in a casual vore world, I feel like there'd be a fair few students that would rather gurgle than take another test, so they might just be used to it.

Prey that knows they're going to end up eaten, and is just choosing their stomach is a fun setting :)

Halloween parties are indeed a great setting~ I mean, parties in general are fun, but Halloween and the costumes just adds extra flavor to the whole thing :)

Amanda's nervousness and fear was fun to write... though really she just shifted from a minor fear of being eaten to the terror of having [i]been[/i] eaten and her imminent death

Yeah, Amelia was written with a sort of sadistic voraphile in mind... she loves killing people in her boyfriends' guts; including her boyfriends, if she finds a new one she likes, and also including enemies, random people, and her own friends, if she wants to add some special spice to the fun. She has several friends for this purpose, though few/none of them know their role in the friendship....

I like Halloween parties as a setting for a vore story. The party gives plenty of people that are there to have fun, and they could be drunk. The Halloween part means that monsters could dress up as humans, or humans could roleplay as monsters while eating other humans. A full belly could even be part of the costume.
Another thing that I like is how vore is normalized to the point that Jason and Amelia aren't worried about being prosecuted for Amanda's murder, but Amanda still is afraid of being eaten. I infer that Amelia invited Amanda, just so Jason could eat her. I like how Jason gives Amanda a sucker just before eating her.
The way Amelia reacts to finding out that Jason ate Mandy before she could feed her to him, makes me think that Amelia is a voraphile observer who loves to feed her pred boyfriend, and fuck him while the prey dies.

Writing this one was definitely a different experience! I mean, normally my vore scenes have privacy/intimacy... this one felt like it went the complete opposite direction, and I'm glad that hit well with you!

I got a ramble!

I'm glad you liked the realism, I read... a fair bit of medieval history stuff as a kid, so I kind of wanted to make the setting feel real. Well, as real as I could without making the whole city stink like a pigpen.

I did try to make it sound like Erin would have certainly died without Tanitha's help, so I'm glad you caught that and liked it.

Apologies for the lack of detail in digestion, I wanted to get this out while it was still kind-of holiday time, and I didn't have it in me to detail several weeks of digestion and a budding romance as much as some might have liked while also getting it out in a decent timeframe.

Some arousal on Tanitha's part likely would have made it a more fun read, but with medieval people being commonly underinformed on many things (sex-ed, for example) and/or with her knowledge of it being about adult/child scenarios, it felt fitting that she might not think of being eaten as a sexual act.

The idea behind Gareth (not that I mentioned it much) was that the neighbors were celebrating the holiday, knew the new neighbor was probably spending it cold and alone, and sent someone over to invite her to the festivities to get to know her a bit better. The fact they sent an unmarried guy about her age, well, I'm sure his mother had certain hopes ;) I don't think she got the result she expected though...

I should get around to "reviewing" this story. I said that I would, so I should. Sometimes I just need to kick myself in the ass.

I like how you describe Santa as being an Elven Patriarch. It is creative, and it would explain why he lives so long, and why humans would give gifts back to elves.

The way Tanitha finds Erin makes sense and is realistic too. Poverty and homelessness has been a problem through history, and different societies, and cultures. It makes obvious sense that it would be present in a fantasy world too.

Tanitha bringing Erin home shows her compassion. Erin had bare feet, and that gave her a high risk of frostbite. Even if elves have good enough blood circulation to prevent frostbite, that would just mean the rest of Erin's body would cool faster, leading to hypothermia. If Erin's elven body could burn enough calories to keep her warm, that would just mean that she would starve faster. I guess what I am saying is that without Tanitha, Erin would be screwed.

The amount of food stored in Tanitha's house makes some sense. In cities, like where she lives, people didn't produce their own food, but where more likely to go and buy it. However this is winter, and it is usually best for people in the cities to store some foods like grains, dry breads, or salted meat. However, Tanitha seems poor too, and she might be relying on her neighbors like Gareth.
The detail about Tanitha needing to give Erin a meal as the host stood out too me. There is much less pressure to be a good host in our current western culture, as there is and has been in other cultures.

I like how Tanitha is so casual about feeding herself to Erin. Casual vore worlds are fun, but I think it would have made just a bit more sense if the thought of being eaten was arousing to Tanitha, rather than her just doing it out of duty, and the spirit of the season.

As for the swallowing scene, I liked it. Feet first makes sense to me, if the pred isn't sure that they can eat their prey, and if the prey is willing. I like the details about Erin struggling to swallow, and how it is tight for Tanitha. Erin isn't a big elf, and same size vore shouldn't be easy IMO. I also like how Erin enjoyed the taste of Tanitha's breasts, and Tanitha enjoyed the feeling of Erin swallowing them. You did a really good job with the swallowing part of the story.

It makes sense that Tanitha couldn't breathe inside the stomach. Even if Erin let her mouth hang open, and her esophageal sphincter stayed open it would still be hard for the air to travel up and down her throat to stay fresh enough for Tanitha to breathe. My personal preference is for the prey to be able breathe enough to stay alive to experience digestion. That is my kink, so I am complaining that it didn't happen while acknowledging that it made sense to do it your way in the story.

I REALLY like that you had slow digestion in the story. It makes sense that it would take awhile to digest a whole person because of the square cube law, Tanitha's skin protecting her body somewhat, her body being intact from not being chewed, and there are other reasons. Animals like snakes that swallow their prey whole take a long time to digest a large meal, so I think the default speed for digestion in vore stories should be slower than what most writers do.

While I like how you describe the from the outside, I would have also really enjoyed description, of what was happening to Tanitha's body inside Erin's stomach as the time passed, although that might be graphic, and gross people out, and would take more effort. One more detail I like about the digestion, is that Tanitha's flesh melted off her skeleton. While I like some melty digestion, it breaks my suspension of disbelief, when an author has an intact prey's bones melt before her skin does.

When Gareth meets Erin, I interpret it that Gareth was originally inviting Tanitha over because he thought she was hot. Gareth seems fine with an elf girlfriend and later wife. Gareth's gifts to Erin paid off.

In summary, this was a great story, and Tanitha gave Erin more gifts than she thought she would. I hope you enjoyed this ramble about your story.

The number of gifts was a fun thought for me too in writing, I started with "oh the gift is her as a meal" and the further I wrote the more things occurred to me that would come from that
I try to write my elves with a slower, more realistic digestion, which was fun cause it really changes how people can imagine the setting when preds like them are the only preds around
Glad you like Gareth, sorry I didn't focus much on that part. :p That ending was kind of a sudden change, originally a neighbor woman was going to show up and invite Erin to a party, the people at the party were going to end up giving her the other stuff... then I realized there was no way Erin was in any shape to go to a party, but I still wanted something wholesome... all down the line of thought, and suddenly there he was instead

.... I should've put a sequel on my potential stories poll. I can see them, running an inn in a few years... he goes out on a trip, she decides to surprise him when he gets back... they just happen to have a few expendable guests available... dang it, I already had too many ideas.

Tanitah gave him many gifts, her own life, a place to live, even an increase in Erin's breasts. Also, the digestion of several days is quite realistic. I would have liked to see a little more of Gareth and Erin's relationship but good job.

On the numbers note, you can probably assume people would have more children if there was good odds that one or more of their kids would be eaten before adulthood, which would probably help steady the population even if there was a large population of preds.

On the mom note, in my mind her mom being mad was more because she's a nurse, and Becky's basically terminally ill but bad at taking her "medicine." So much stress and distractions in high school, after all. Sometimes you barely have time to pick a fellow student who you can safely disappear into the sewers without people getting upset.

I don't know the set up of this setting but doing the math if there was only 1000 preds on earth each would have to eat 34-ish people a day for 80 years in order to cause extinction. You can extrapolate from there but in a world with a (Reasonable) number of predators it is feasable.
And
It would make sense for a pred mother to be annoyed that her daughters being stingy with a plentiful resource
